they look like a cross breed!! The soles are definetly HC as you can tell by the splatter paint, and the uppers are redone with the triangle hole instead of circle. Not sure if it's just bad lighting in the pic but looks like you can see light coming through seams between shoes and heel cup where LED bubble is in top pic!

Yes, they are a cross breed of the V2 and HC.
The soles are HC type, so the clear bits are slightly clearer but still yellowy,
while the grey soles are not as smooth or textured finely as the V2.
The bottom half of the uppers is exactly same as a V2, exact 100%.
Just the top upper half is different, as its made of a very thin vinyl stitched to an even thinner foam cuff.
So yes, its a cross breed.

no they were the originals - I got a couple pairs when they first came out thinking they wouldn't be available again. silly me!
Lol I knew someone in this forum had to have collected even more versions than me

Just a quick update. My shoes came in today from Karin Chen. Ordered November 3rd, received November 21st to Southeastern Connecticut. Box was a bit beaten up, but shoes are in good shape. Soles have not started to yellow yet at all (as you can see). Not sure if this has been brought up before, but shoes and inside of box smell like nail polish remover. Overall, pretty happy though.

Wow, they look really good. I can only guess that they are still in production if the soles are still super white, even the midsoles look nice and pale and haven't gone yellowish. The ones I've had for years which never saw light are more yellow than those.

I wonder how many they actually made in the first run? I am pretty sure they would have sold all those by now and why we are starting to see newer looking rubber. The black pair posted a short time back also appeared to near translucent white as well.

If you scroll back a few pages, I mentioned Karin saying the only remaining stock of 8.5's she had had defective lights. She sent me some new stock as soon as she got it. Not sure if these have any improvements over a previous batch. What would I be looking for?
I want to find and invest into some real mags(size 11) so I've been doing some digging but I don't know if i could trust this site.:wacko:unsure

Again it looks too good to be true. At least we have a date that seems more realistic than "two weeks". So calling all splatter experts, are these still the same shoes?
I clicked on the links and it goes to a Facebook page called "Shopify". I am not sure what they even means.

This is the RPF where some can identify the swirls of a finger print. When these shoes first raised their heads, a select few began looking very closely. The splatters are like a finger print where each is unique to the shoe, yet the same print or pattern was found from pair to pair leading us to the conclusion that each video made was using the exact same pair. of course when asked to provide pictures of other pairs, nothing.
The Chinese can make good stuff and their other reps have been pretty much spot on. The MAGs not 100% and I think that is because back in 2012 when the V2 images first appeared, all they had was RD images to work off. Now that they have a real pair, they should be able to scan and scale the parts to make the sizes they need. The CP-3D buckle was done exactly this way. CP could have released all the parts for the whole shoe, but he knew only a select few could do anything with them, so he didn't bother.
I think $700 (680) is too much for a replica shoe that will be mass produced. They say these will be a limited run and they said the same thing about the V2s, yet now we are seeing evidence that they have indeed made more than the original batch. These will not be "real NIKE" shoes. They will be done with the same false labels that the V2s have. I have not scanned mine yet, but was told that it does say "NIKE product" even though we all know that is not the case.
No splatter will ever be exactly the same. Looking at pictures previously released you can tell it is the same.

If the price is too good to be true then it will be a scam for sure. A few of us on here own multiple pairs of Authentic Mags, we know our shoes inside & out & to be honest, I wouldn't buy any that were not from eBay or a private seller that could supply me with photos in hand & at a price point of around $4-5k.
Be extra cautious, every pair of original Mags were sold at auction, I don't believe there is any surplus lying around except potentially at Nike HQ in Oregon. Anyone that can promise multiple pairs at low prices is out to stitch you up.
Do check out eBay for authentic pairs.
