Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

Hi everyone.

First post but ive been following the topic everyday since weeks now. Ive been dreaming about the mags since the 90s, I couldn't afford them in 2011, never liked the v1 or v2 so when I saw the v3 I was really excited... until I saw the price. I always expect some problems with sneakers rep from china but from a $600 one? Not a chance. These last probably 4 weeks. I can see people already complaining about faulty/dim lights, chargers...in a month it will be about the yellow soles. You can buy a pretty decent mobile Phone for that price and that will connect itself to a satellite to tell you where you are...and these cant hold the led lights after wearing them 4 times?

I understand the hype but 600 dollars are really too much for what they are offering, think about that before spending your money. These cost probably $50 each to make. People are still hoping they will improve the quality but it won't happen if you keep buying them. $300 could be a good compromise because I'm sure Nike will stop them like in the past so they are clearly trying to make as much profit as possible during the next few months.

Also before posting your reviews on YouTube telling everyone how awesome are these, please try them for a couple of weeks... and it looks quite dodgy if after one week from the video you post some pictures of 5 new pairs (I bet you got a pretty good discount isn't it?)

Please don't accuse me of being jealous or something else. Money doesent grow on trees for most of us and I know many of you will be disappointed.

you buy what you can afford and what is of value to you. By how close these look to the real mags which go for thousands $600 isn't that bad. In the grand scheme of things yes $600 for a Chinese replica is crazy, but if it has that value to the buyer you can't really tell people other things to buy when they want that one product. For me I don't care if my lights go out, I only turn em on for pictures anyway, I'm not going to wear them often that is my 102nd pair of shoes it's a special occasion shoe for me so mine will not yellow nearly as fast not to mention I don't walk in water in clear soles which also speeds up the oxidation process in the yellowing. And when they do yellow there are tons of products to clear up the yellow. Not to mention there are RD mags that have EL issues out there anyway though of course it didn't take a few weeks. All that being said.....I'm sure the majority of us are happy with our $600 purchase.

Actually, yes, he's right $600 is crazy for a shoe if you compare with a smartphone or something else but that's not the point. We all dream about owning a pair of Mag and Nike never give us the opportunity to do it and probably never will. So they can try to stop chinese factories for making this dream "affordable", then **** Nike and thanks David or whatever.

I'm thrilled with my purchase. Even if (when) they break, it'll still be some of the best money ever spent for me. When dealing with things like EL you will never have a bulletproof shoe. Nike had these issues, modders had these issues, the knockoffs have these issues. But if that's not what you want in a shoe, you are free to pursue the shoes however you see fit!

As I said before, let's all please refrain from telling other people how they should feel. We all want something different because these shoes all mean something different to each of us.

And if you DO want cheaper shoes, you should love that they're breaking since people here might be more willing to offset a broken pair for under cost. See, win-win.

I'm pretty sure you're talking about Jedifyfe but I also have a review on YouTube and I do mention how awesome these V3s are because well, they are awesome.

As far as the $600 price point - yes it's a lot of money especially with other sites selling them for $460

Sneakerahead and davidjones888 should definitely drop the price if they want us to continue buying from them because it's no secret that all the V3 Mags are exactly the same - all the Mags are coming from the same factory.

And i'm pretty sure the prices will drop by 50% in few months, for those who can wait, i highly suggest you to wait. =)

Here's a picture of the difference between yellow sole and clear sole you can get. ;)

The thing is, yea $600 is a lot of a replica shoe, but I am very happy with the actual base of the shoe. The fabric, build, the proportions...yea there are issues with the electronics and soles, but with a few mods these pairs are going to be absolutely perfect for me. I know for $600 is a lot and people wont want to mod theirs...but you definitely can. I should be done with the mods (other then the inverter) this weekend, and I'll post comparison pictures...I have already started gluing the new soles on and I can tell you already they are looking amazing!

Spending $600 and a few mods shouldn't be such insanity compared to the diehards who spend thousands on a Delorean and spend more thousands, plus years to convert them into time machines :D

finaly get mine, can finish my shoes pack, will make a shooting with my friend who have a dolorean soon :D

I so want another pair of those AIR PRESSURES. I wore mine into the ground, literally. Love that plastic shoe box that they came. I Think that is so good.

Does somebody already paid with paypal? Family/friends transfer is free right?

I think they now charge 1% for this. It used to be free.

From sneakerahead too, didn't know about this $460 deal... Damn

Please PM me a link. This could be the push I need :)

The right shoe. The puffy collar is wrinkled badly at the top of the ear.

Didn't they offer this same pair to someone else here? I think I remember that wrinkle.

Just got my second round of QC , What do you guys think ?

Left sole is transparent, right one is yellowed, these are the last series they received.

The front transparent left sole under the shoe is clear, the right one isn't.

Don't get me wrong guys. I started to check this forum because I love those shoes and the idea of having them gives me the chills but I am also the kind of person who thinks three times before spending $600, especially if I don't have any warranty whatsoever.

I am not against spending that money for something you love and I can see myself spending $600 for something well made. Ok, the lights are not perfect but they do their job, right? I'm cool with that. The collar and the color don't look exactly like the RD? no problem, you can't have everything. Is this the only way to get them because Nike and Universal won't allow average people to fulfill their dream? I accept that. Am I ok with paying $600 and the sole are going to get yellow in about a month? Or most of the time they arrive already yellowish? No, I am definitely not and I hope most of you aren't. You have 30 days to return them, right? Yeah but they will charge for the refund, you have to pay the delivery and most of the time they will try to force you not to send them back with some silly excuse. I am not cool with that either especially when I pay $600. I don't understand why do we need to accept that just "because". Charge me $300 and then I won't say a word (even if I should). They are the same people who made the originals, they know how to make them better but they won't cause you keep buying them. They pay 50 or less, they charge you 600, then they pay $1.36 to the factory workers and we are all here praising "David" (I hope you understand there is no David out there) only because sometimes he writes here just to don't make people too upset about the faulty ones.

yea there are issues with the electronics and soles, but with a few mods these pairs are going to be absolutely perfect for me
These are not a DIY project or they would sell you the parts to assemble yourself.

Nike had these issues
I am sure 80% of the RD around are still functioning.....and you don't get the yellow soles either..

I am sure if I wasn't the only one saying these things our dear "David" would definitely take in consideration to improve their customer service and products. Also, I hope that all of you guys who bought them have at least sent $10 to the MJF foundation cause that was the whole point of making the RD ones.
