I have a little tip for you though. If you're happy enough with the laces, then keep them as they are because modding them is a real pain. It took me forever to find out how to keep the shoe tight, but also have the right shape. I've only done one lace, but it works. And I have a question to whoever wants to answer it. What type of glue should I use to glue the upper back together? I separated the layers to do some modding and they need to go back once I'm done with the laces and ribs.

I have used that glue for multiple things, once it is set, it's in for life haha. Super strong stuff. Only draw back is it isn't very flexible, you may be able to feel the stiffness on the toe, I'm not sure this is the best for the toe fix. The best to person to ask would be S02, or jedifyfe.
What exactly is going to be changed with the V2-2s? From the youtube video from one of the suppliers talking about the flaws it seems that the electronics and possibly the tongue are going to be upgraded. Is there anything else?

I personally use Shoe Goo due to it being made for exactly this type of thing (Used a lot by skaters to repair battered trainers)

Well I was actually thinking of cutting them off and put thicker ones, i would just slightly cut the holes for it a bit more. I think MP shoes have 2 layers right? So maybe slide the laces under one of the layer, so maybe i could make visible ribs too, haha not really sure, need to check the shoes properly again xD

Tip for Shoe Goe users - go to your local chemist and get plastic syringes (as used by diabetics). You won't need the needle, just load the tube directly from the Shoe Goo tube, whack in the plunger and squirt it out the end in a much finer and more controllable stream.
When your done, you flush the syringe with lots of water as the goo goes to gel as soon as it hits water and you can literally scrape it off the plunger and off the nozzle at the end.
Last lot I got for 50c each. They will fail after 2 or three uses, and why I bought 10. Your Shoe Goo will go much further and not be anywhere as messy to use.
The original laces are sewn in at the top and bottom and to do the ribs, you'll have to separate the layers of fabric with the black rubber in between it and put pieces of foam in. Laces aren't nearly thick enough to make ribs. And you can't add ribs unless you cut the lace part wider because it's sewn shut. So like I said before. If you're happy enough with the original laces, then don't try to mod it. But if you're a sticker for accuracy, then all the power to you.

and do you know which paint you can use for the sole? I mean for the stains^^

The grey mid sole? If that's what you're talking about then that doesn't really matter once you splatter it with turquoise paint. They're barely noticeable when you do that.
Is acrylique paint fine?

I am wondering if a syringe (with a needle) would be OK to apply splatter? It would be a much finer stream or could just be drips, pending the pressure you place on the plunger.

It it hard to find the right colour. I even took my MP MAGs into various shops when I looked for the paint to splat the soles on that pair. When I did my 1st scratch build MAGs (the leather pair), I mixed my own colour.
The actual colour is supposed to be equal parts of India Blue and Emerald Green mixed together. When I did my splatters, I had the green, but could not find the blue, so I purchased a new can of green and blue from the same line, mixed them equally and got a really nice colour.
Yeah but this acrylic turquoise seems to be the right colour, not really sure x) but i'm pretty sure it could be nice on the mags xD
