I have emailed Lin Da to see if they will sell the remaining bad batch stock for $100 a pair. Reckon we could get 100 of us together to encourage them? For $100 I would be happy with the current versions, but for anything over $150 they can swivel.

If I only spend $100 on the shoe I can justify tearing it apart to sort some of the issues with them. I pretty much guarantee they're having you on and the v3 is exactly the same shoe (if not the same stock)

There is a pair of RD MAGs on ebay and the bidding is only at $255. I'm thinking it's a scam, but you never know.

How PO'd would you be if you were the seller and the bids don't get pushed into the thousands? Crazy to even list this as as auction IMO. This is not the sort of item you'd want to risk like this.

I saw a pair of the knockoffs go for about that not too long ago. I was pissed. I hate seeing the unknowing get ripped off. I even messaged the seller multiple times. He just responded with anger and defensiveness. Sure sign that he knew what he was doing was wrong. It's a shame too. Ive been watching and see them bid at over a grand for the most part.

A few minutes ago I did the ol' "nike mag" search on ebay, and yep, sure enough there were 3 auctions on the first page for the replicas, and all 3 were over $1,000. Two of them were BID up to their amounts, and one was just a buy-it-now with offers. Of the two bid auctions, one description said they were a hand-made pair and didn't claim them as authentic, and the other one (bidding was at $1,200 IIRC) said they were "10000000% AUTHMENTIC."

People are stupid. I'm sorry buy anyone bidding on that deserves to lose their money.

But your creating more work for yourself to fix the v2s? You will most likely be able to get the v3s for around the same cost with fixed LEDs and probably better materials.Just be patient it will pay off for you in the long run.

a pair of RD mags sold for 2k in bids last week on ebay, but if you check the sellers feedback he got a negative from the buyer that same day cause he flatly refused to sell them and honor the auction price. its not a risk unless your an honest seller I guess, but those will never sell for less than 3k unless there worn or beat up or something.

id be happy with a pair of the v2's with bad electronics / broken lights for 100$, the lights look so bad id never use them anyhow and would mod them anyway. I bet they have more than a few pairs of those lying around.

I dont believe these so called v3's would be any different. with the wait for the v2's id be shocked to see a v3 anytime in the next several months. they are just saying that like they said that the v2's would ship in a week and then took many weeks for them to actually appear. if this 200 page thread teaches you anything, its if the chinese tell you the sky is blue, you had better go outside and check...

I'm having a blast modding my Markpoons. I just finished cutting the light bubble slot out of the left heel cup. I also widened the lace area. Tomorrow I'll add the molding rubber to fill in the little space that was left over from the original light bubble. I pushed mine back to be more accurate.

You enter in shapeways store and choose the level of detail/material/color/ number of pieces.For example, you can print in black if you like, or put a stormtroper logo(crossover versions), ect.I personally recommend hard white plastic, is the cheapest and is ready to wear.
Every week Im trying to put a new objet to print(like my new pedestal, and micro Mags ensambling kits).
Probably for the people that would be interest I can put my private 3D models of soles and midsoles to print at different sizes(8,9,19,11)...its only a idea.
