Ok, would be better to avoid problems airair.
Put images in shapeways without logos, (and the search tags only put ankle buckle??)but here in forums I prefer to show the images with logos...looks more beauty!!

could you suggest a good el inverter/battery setup?
i think you set up a mini circuit for your own replica, but what would you suggest is best option?
especially in your ankle buckle if printed with 3d? obviously we would need el inverter that is small and thin enough.
if you have any recommendations, links to el inverters, feel free to share.

whats the price likely to be? and have you made different approximate sizes for different shoes? like 8,9,10,11,12?
i think the buckle would only slightly increase in size for any given shoe size.

I ordered from AliExpress.com Nike MAG on Dec 2nd and received them on Dec 8th. If you order during the weekend and use a MasterCard you get $5 off your order. (Any little bit helps!)
I don't think they're as bad as that YouTube video made them out to be. I mean, they aren't the real ones... There was a small damaged spot on the material where the Velcro had attached to the shoe above the strap when they arrived.
These don't look too bad and work out to £156 including shipping to the UK, I'm tempted. Has anyone else on here ordered from them? According to the site there has only been one order in the past 6 months for this shoe, with 5 out of 5 feedback, seems a bit dodgy??
Also, how do you select your shoe size and why do you have to select a colour? Either White or Grey? What is this the colour of? :unsure

I pair ordered with positive feed back might just be 5/5, depends how they set that up.
Your colour choices are grey, grey or if your really lucky, grey.

The only true measures that I have is for a size 8 and 9, if you can know the exact size of 10, 11 and 12 please let me know...but in my opinion, I think that all sizes have the same ankle height.One god idea would be to search a photo comparison between different sizes(a photo with different sizes shoes together)
For preparing a different sizes in shapeways is TOO EASY.But I need to know first.
About price, every piece would be starting from 11 dollards to a bit more,depending mainly of piece thickness.That is the decision that I need to evaluate, depending of thickness and scale, the price would vary.the idea is to have a balanced solution between to be cheaper and stronger.
About batteries, I recommend a starting point of 1500Mah, heres a LOT of small chinese batteries for phones, AAA batteries, button cell batteries.......
If everyone can start bartering with these aliexpress dealers maybe with enough people talking them down in price they will come down...no?
Pitbull, the aliexpress link posted above that points to Karen Chen's store is the one I posted several pages back as being the best price on aliexpress. Before I posted that link here I had already contacted her and tried to pull her price down even more, but she wouldn't budge. She was already the cheapest option on aliexpress, and she knew it. There are other sellers on aliexpress selling them for $999.
Her $250 price includes free shipping as well, so if you figure shipping is about $30, and the factory eventually charged these suppliers something "over $200" for the shoes from the first batch, you'll see she doesn't have much wiggle room to make a profit, not on the first batch at least.

Yeah, after looking around she is the cheapest, even cheaper than a lot of websites once you factor in shipping. Once I saw djjeremy's pics I figured it was a safe bet. Plus I emailed her and she was very quick to reply. I asked if she made sure all of the electronics worked before shipping and she said she checks each pair to make sure everything lights up.
Now I just gotta get my money back from shoesbagonsale.
Yeah me too. They said they would refund me but still haven't, so I am disputing the CC charge.
On the lights, that's what she told me too—that she will check to make sure no LEDs are out before they ship.

I did, and it's a good idea as this thread is beginning to suck ass with all this other nonsense in it. i.e. advertising :rolleyes
I made my own thread for my full build, people will visit once the project gets to the exciting bits.
Even after I get my CC chargeback, I'm still probably going to wait to see if the V2.5s come in January. I doubt they will, and their original "one more month" time frame will atcually mean March or April, especially since the Chinese take time off at the new year.
I just still can't bring myself to pull the trigger on these for $250 when I think eventually they'll be back down to $100 or $150. I honestly don't know how much longer I'm willing to wait though.
