It looks like there's an indent in the back side of the ankle buckle to prevent the button from getting pressed on accident.

It's a USB cable, so all you would need is an adapter that allows you to charge a USB device (Like an iPhone or Kindle) from your local wall socket. Then ditch their adapter but keep their USB cable.

Easy peasy.

You'd just need to double check the specs on it to be safe, but USB power tends to be fairly universal across devices.
