NIKE MAG Knockoffs

However, the lights in the sole appeared to be much better looking in the pics that leaked two days ago, now it`s back to a slight disappointment after seeing the videos and recent pics...still a good knockoff though

Lights never look as good on film as they do in person or controlled photo settings.

Anyone who bought these who isn't extremely pumped right now is blind or crazy.

Brad, have you though about the extent of the mods you might do across your different pairs of shoes? I'd be curious to know what you have planned.

Here`s the difference I`m talking about.

First knockoffs were a disappointment regarding lights

After seeing these pics two days ago people even hoped they might have changed to EL panels

Recent pics again...

It`s either the darkness that makes the lights in the second image appear like EL panels or they really photoshopped it...

I was planning to add EL there anyway, to make them more accurate, so no big issue for me.

And if you don't feel like doing that, adding some sort of diffusion under the clear sole will probably help even the lighting out a bit more.

Just remember, if you plan on wearing these, they won't be at eye level, meaning the straight in angle that shows off the interior LEDs won't be much of a problem and most people will just go "Hey! Cool! Back to the Future shoes!

I don't think it's photoshopped but I do think that the exposure on the dark picture was left open longer to allow the "hot spot" to spread and fill more of the area. I am betting that in person the shoes will look more the the darker picture than the others

I bought a pair for wearing and one for display so I`m definitely interested in a pair that is as accurate as possible.
Although I have no clue how to mod them, I`m sure I`ll give it a try soon as a lot of people are so kind to present their progress and know-how, I`m happy that the crappy Mattycollector Hoverboard led me here :lol

It looks like the USB is above the switch. You might have to remove the Ankle Buckle and Strap to connect it. After watching all the vids and reading the last few pages, I do like that velcro that seems to be on both sides of the shoes.

From what is seen in the videos, the materials and stitching quality seems greatly improved over the V1s.

I also got sent THIS today.

All this movement in the last few days has done terrible things to the organization of my Mags folder on my hard drive.

...Looks like it's time for a little spring cleaning. The last time that happened with my Mags folder, I started breaking pictures of the RDs down by size. :lol

You only got one? I've got 3 :lol. RD MAGs, Knockoff MAGs and my own MAG projects.

Something I noticed about the uppers is that they seem to have used the same pattern for both the shell and the liner. Not that this is a bad thing, but is another inaccuracy compared to the RD MAGs. The internal seam should be centered between the 4 laces and like the V1s, it is between the 1st and 2nd (from the toe). On the RD MAG, the internal seams are at this location only. The V2 has both internal and external seams at the same point. Will it be a weak point? Only time will tell.

In the airyeezybay link Cavx posted at the bottom it says they have already shipped all there pre orders.

I hope this is the case for every other site

Oh, if only you knew the level of my obsession... :lol

"Mags" is just the parent folder within "BTTF" (Which has 16 folders of its own) that houses all of my Mag images and references.

Within "Mags" are 8 Sub-Folders: CloneProps, Jedifyfe, K-Mags, Mark Poon, Mine, Movie, RD Mags, and S02. breaking those down...

CloneProps: 39 images
Jedifyfe: 8 images (most of the other shots of his conversions are waiting to be organized)
K-Mags: 5 Pictures (I only collected official pictures of the silver shoes); 1 Sub-Sub-Folder
---V2 Sub-folder: 66 Pictures
Mark Poon: Empty (Proof I need to organize better)
Mine: 41 pictures of my projects with Mags
Movie: 56 images and screen shots
RD Mags: 187 images; 9 Sub-Sub-Folders
---Dino Ignacio: 13 images
---Dondula: 12 images
---Pitbull: 20 images
---Samples: 1 Sub-Sub-Sub-Folder (And some pics that need to be put in there)
>>>>>>Size 8: 11 Pictures
---Size 7: 9 Pictures
---Size 8: 13 pictures
---Size 9: 44 images
---Size 10: 29 images
---Size 13: 6 images
S02: Empty until I do spring cleaning

...when I'm lazy, the pictures end up getting saved to the black hole that is my "Projects" folder. With thousands of loose images there, it takes some time to sort through them.

So...yeah, I'm a little nuts. :lol

I noticed that too. I really hope that's the case all over. I hope to have a tracking number in the morning.
