NIKE MAG Knockoffs

We can't...why would anyone expect that? :lol It's a Photoshop, plain and simple. Please don't anyone expect to receive that shoe from the knockoff sites!

...I knew I should have plastered a disclaimer on that image.

I was implying the notion that the replica factories take notice of your altered photo so that they can implement the necessary adjustments to satisfy the customers desire for a better copy of the shoe. Of course this is wishful thinking.

Is it me or is this thread out of control and causing my post count to rise rapidly. Been lurking around for a couple years without a post. Now, in a week I have 75 due 99.99% to this thread!

Yeah this thread is out of control. Last night we were on page 109. Logged on this morning and we are on 113.

Back to the shoes... The stitching around the pull hole just looks to be added reinforcement. Seems like its stitched inside as we'll. would be an easy enough change for them to make, but if we pulled out the stitching as a mod, it would leave holes

Yet....I can't stop checking in, no matter how much I want to hold off. It's an addiction at this point. Seriously, you should see me throughout the day, refreshing the browser on my computer/phone......sick :unsure

Easy finger pull fix: remove the stitches. (That MAY be all thats needed) if it comes apart because of this, glue the fabric inside of the hole together after tucking the material into itself.

It is, but also because of the way they constructed the shoe. When I did my leather MAG, I stitched my cuff to the liner upside down and then flipped it up. I then glued the cuff to the collar, then cut the hole in the cuff. The hole was already cut in the leather upper and this ensured that the two aligned.

I am betting these will have the same seam around the collar that the V1 has. It is not the correct way to do this as the RD does not have this seam either.

If you pulled out the stitching, you might be able to fold and glue down the edges of the hole. Maybe...

Like you, I think I need to seek help :) Of course once the shoes arrive, this thread will explode with people complaining how the shoes don't look like Nick's photo-shopped image.

I wish it auto-refreshed. I hate having to scroll back up just to refresh on an iPhone.

I hate how this site logs me out if I don't post ever few minutes.

Hurry up with the shoes already!

It would be neat to make one.

Yes it would be. Maybe that will be the next great project. Perhaps someone with the real mags would help us in the future when we need it. Dimensions, materials, etc. Here are my ideas on it. We would need a template made in sketchup or something to make the box. It would specify where to fold and glue and such. Then another template to make the foam fit the shoes. People would obviously have to scale it to their shoe size. This is all hypothetical though. I'm not sure if someone would want to do this.

Well, I already have plans to do at least one box. Let's see how it turns out, and I'll share what I learn.
