Thats horrible. I WANT to like it but for me the main part I was hopig for was overlooked, they are too SHORT. I want the tall book look, I even made my mags a little taller than the real ones to accentuate the boot top height and theres no "easy fix" for that on these shoes.

I will just be trying to correct the toe only. BUT I may have a pair that I will COMPLETELY tear down so I can see how they are put together.

just got confirmation. they are LED's in the soles, no light up strap. Thats the finished shoe.

Apparently this was too hard for their "technicians"! ho ho!

I find that baffling that they didn't even attempt it properly,
when most of us on here have found that the EL light is not that dificult to wire up. All you need is EL sheet, inverter, leds and resistors.

Oh well!

guess that means some custom wiring coming on!!

Looking at the pictures again, is it just me or do these looks sort of suede-ish?

I can't make out a fabric texture and it's just got me thinking.

If you look at the left side shoe, you can see the "lines" in the fabric just like the real MAG's

Not too sure about that. I took my modified toe area image and sized it up to the same length as the real MAG and it looks 99% correct hieght...

Interestingly, there doesn't appear to be a center back seam above the ankle buckle...

The pattern they used was probably one piece at that part, but with a slit a little bit down it that had to be sewn together.

Hey guys. I have had several PM's in the last hour asking about modding these shoes.

I will be getting mine and testing how to do the toe slimming, EL in the sole and strap and possibly the green LED's. Though I think these have green but the camera isn't catching that color well.

Once I have the technique down to a science, as I do with the Markpoon's, then of course I will be doing Mods for people. Not sure about the cost. Stay tuned...

The utter lack of patience in this thread is hilarious. Overall the shoes look pretty good, and I'm sure that, in time, how to mod these will be discovered. I might wait it out to see how sizing is, but probably going to pick up a pair.

Pretty good turn out. Damn them for not doing the simple EL logo though. I suspect they did that on purpose though for copyright as those 12 LEDs are FAR harder than a little EL Nike logo.

I'll get a pair ordered and do just the toe and EL logo and they're done! You won't be able to change the rear strap holders without serious work as the charging port is in there by the looks of it.

I would imagine if the sole lights are EL, you can just tap into that feed and run a few wires up to the Nike logo. If they're LED it will be a ***** of a job and I'll likely leave them or shout 'Brad' as loud as I can ;-)
