Yeah, and the name change thing....they had "nike" in their web address and were probably called on it. Not sure what to say about the fact that they no longer have the shoe listed. Again, we'll see.

Interesting. That's the same email address that confirmed my order from Nike Mags,Nike Air Mag 2015,Nike Mcfly For Sale,Nike Back To The Future Shoes 2015 Wholesale-nikemags.com. Site looks very similar too, in fact, a lot of them do. I wonder if anyone else who ordered from yet a different site got confirmation from the same haifatradestore@gmail.com address

Look, lets agree to push the panic button after the 1st. Until then, I say patience and lets ride this one out and wait for them to deliver. Not to sound all weird, but it is said that you attract what you think about most. So lets all think about how cool these shoes will look on our feet

I doubt you folks will be able to do anything more than have your credit card company/Paypal, get your money back.
China has a very different legal system which is why they are known for producing knock off items.
Most if not all times someone thinks about suing them the chinese government just turns round and says "so?". And nothing comes of it.
Beyond all the other obvious signs that this could be shady, I think the fact that they all use hotmail and gmail addresses as contact points is a red flag too.
When you purchase a domain/site, you usually gain the ability to use your domain as a customer email address, e.g. blahblah@pickgoodshoes.com
However it's very easy to produce a new hotmail or gmail address almost instantly.

I'm not talking about suing them, but they can certainly be reported for fraudulent dealings on the web. If they intend on taking money without producing a product, that's called theft, which I'm pretty sure is illegal in most countries, even china. I couldn't care less if they're knocking off nike goods, in fact I believe that's exactly what we're all hoping they do, but even so, you don't think a multibillion dollar corporation like nike couldn't make an example of some of these fools if they wanted to?

It is likely that they might not be able to do much. There was an episode of Top Gear where they showed cars that were being manufactured in China. These cars looked identical to those being sold by multibillion dollar companies like BMW. BMW took them to court in China over copyright infringement, and they lost. The Chinese court said that they looked nothing alike. So no, they might not necessarily do able to do anything.

NIKE probably doesn't bother to take legal because of the reasons mentioned above. Even though the shoes are a knock off and NIKE doesn't get any of the profit share, they do get free advertising from it. These shoes are still displaying the NIKE and Jordan logos. Even though I am not into the lights as much as some, if they are indeed blue, I'll be displaying that catchy little logo.

That's what I meant by they have a very different legal system.
They are literally cut off from the world when it comes to a lot of products
and companies. The chinese government even limits movies not made in china to a small number per year, and they have to go through a screening process.
Nike could do pretty much nothing to these people even if they wanted to. You can't sue someone if the legal system in China just laugh at you.
Fairly recently a Chinese video game group made a first person shooter game that stole every asset in the game from Team Fortress 2 and Battlefield Heroes. Everything from the sounds to the texture were all stolen.
And to this day Valve and EA have been able to do nothing about it for this very reason.
The very reason china is able to even make so many knock off products is for the simple fact that the laws recognizing people's copyright don't hold much water if they are from outside China.
I'm sure you guys will be fine with your money. But making an example of them, unfortunately probably wont happen is all I'm saying.

Agreed and if they send the shoes in boxes containing only 1 or 2 pair at a time, customs will let them slide as they have too many more important larger shipments to worry about.
