I'm using the same technique to make the Heel Cup as well. That is still a work in progress.

nice job man...it looks great . you should make one mare top layer to make the tip more pointed like pic shown..

Thank you Caloss. What I actually have to do is bring the two cutout parts(taper at the top) in closer to the centre and round that off. If I build that part up, it will be too tall.

I checked it against my MAGs tonight and you could not ask for a better match from the side profile. It is actually the right shape compared to the K-MAGs version. I have also extended the base line down slightly which will cover a small portion of the mid sole to correct for the height difference which I think is better than cutting away the foam rubber as some have done.

It is not perfect yet as I can feel high spots that I need to sand down, but I am very satisfied with the results for just one days work on this very complex part.

I think it's safe to say now that the nike kmag V2s are never coming out. Looks like we're stuck with making our own or saving up a ton to buy a pair from someone on this site.

Here we go once again, It looks like a good build in the making who knows you might have the next V2 K-Mag right in front of you its up to you on what your imagenation can create ...Great job on all the Nike Mag builds guys its been a long an stressful journey but its been worth it keep up good work .

Or we all collaborate to make one...
BINGO! I am happy to provide Vac forms of the parts I am making. What I need a pattern for the actual shoe because I am really struggling with that.

Caloss has done an amazing job and I hoping to score a pattern off him if I trade for set of Heel Cups and Ankle Buckles (if he wants to that is). Other than that, you will find a thread soon in the JY for these parts.

Anyway, have a look at what I have completed today.

I hate to say "I told you so," but...

Well, I'll just say sometimes my cynicism pays off. :lol

This is the way so much development always happens in this community. Just wait, this is stage one where everyone is experimenting with materials, methods, and techniques. Soon we'll start perfecting all of those and I wouldn't be surprised if one of the members working on modifying K-Mags now goes on to offer their very own scratch built shoes very soon.

...and they'll look better than any V2 shoe would look anyway. Just enjoy the ride, I know I am. (Even if I don't get to work on my shoes as much as I would like)

No worries ill send you my pattern /templates /what size are you and what do you need the {full metal jacket package} witch is everything or the {progressive pick as you go Package. just being funny man whats your shoe size Us mens ...? we will start from that first . Thanks man i would love to help out anyone with questions an ill try my best to answer them quickly...

yeah, im surprised they haven't knocked off the proper air mag yet. Someone surely has the original shoe in their hand and is de constructing it as we speak and making a copy, although its quite funny that the Chinese have created a replica of a fan made replica!

Mark Poon must be wondering whats going on!

All i want is a wearable sneaker, and even if it doesn't have Led lights, i don't care, As long as it looks good, thats all that matters.

is there a way to remove the bottom pices , and die cast clear ones to re attach , and how much woul that be , cuz i would do that in a heart beat, since the knockoffs arent see through

Hey hey secrets don't make friends lol. So is your shoe based on markpoon mags with rebuilt uppers like Fyfe did? So far I've only rebuilt the upper cuff but I'm wondering if I should leave or at that or keep going and at least make a new type box also.

Your conversion is looking good. I hope you keep going with them to show what can be done. Your toe correction totally rocks and I will be doing that to mine for sure.

i got some white polymer clay by Fimo thinking it would be the same as Sculptey, but it was terrible. Its very hard to smooth over and join pieces together, and it just seems to crumble a lot. Eventually though after a few hours, I shaped it over a glass bottle and put it in the oven to harden it. still needs a few things changed and added and smoothed, but this is the best I could get it by making it entirely by hand.

I definitely won't get this Fimo classic again, might try some other brands.

here are some pics, its slightly smaller than my previous attempt, and ive put it next to the kmag buckle for comparison.
