Speaking of knock offs, I am in a huge fight with shoesbag over my refund. It is getting absolutely ridiculous and I fear my money is just lost/stolen at this point.

Get onto their Facebook page and have to chat via PM there. They were very helpful last year when the price of these things suddenly jacked up to over 300%.

I don't know. I had a running conversation happening with them on Facebook last year and even posted some of that here in this thread. Their claim was that they don't want to rip anyone off and if people pre-paid (as I had), they could either pay the difference of get a full refund. They agreed that the price was too high for these shoes, but stuck to the story that they are just the reseller and the factory was the one pushing the price up.

I used LJ10 which were looking dodgy and got a full refund last year.

Well to be honest i'm used to get a w34 (for women) too, but i chosen a 36, but it was ok around the hips, but a bit loosy for a "skinny jeans" for my legs, you can tell from the pictures xD It's a bit loosy haha!
Damn! It's unisex though It always sizes a bit tighter for men i guess!

Yeah they fit snug around the legs. Crotch, not so good though....

Yes they are. I love being able to wear these out and about and not worry that I paid thousands of dollars for them.

I was at a store yesterday and literally had 5 people that worked there crowd around me checking out my shoes. It's amazing the response you get with these. People from all walks of life remember these shoes and wanted them just like us.

You do any modding work for others? I'd be interested. Did you do any changes to the shoes other than aesthetics, the wiring and charging etc, whats going on on the inside?

e: Just found the V2 modding thread, how'd I miss it all this time.. anyway wow man seeing the work being done is incredible, understandably I can see you not wanting to mod shoes for someone else haha but it really is such great work, I gotta at least ask ya.

I was in a clothes store in London a few months back wearing my semi modded markpoon Mags and a gal asked if she could take a photo. Was pretty cool

Also anyone wondering about a second version of these knockoffs, talk has been up in the air. My pal and supplier says he hasn't heard a peep about an improved version. It seems like this first batch of the "2011 Mags" was quite troublesome to produce and done in the largest Fujian replica spot.

I think the mods are better than anything they could mass produce anyway, it just ain't cost efficient for them.

It's because of the people buying a ton of these and selling them on ebay for $600+

Just wait another 6 months and they will be back down to $100-$150

I do wonder how many they made with their "limited run" and given these have been out for about 3 months now, maybe why we are starting to see the off pairs. They are getting to bottom on the pile and sold all the good ones.
