It makes me sick at how much the price has been jacked up! They are thinking they are just expensive shoes but they were expensive because of donations and it was also a limited run. These shoes are neither but they are still trying to pass it off as a luxury knockoff. My facepalm of the day unfortunately.

Good question. Considering this shoe is hovering around 70 bucks higher than a lot of the most expensive Fake shoes, is it just that they are using the fact these were auctioned off for thousands as an excuse to jack up the price or are they just that much more expensive to produce than the average shoe?

I'm sure that they'd go to $500 easily if it were the former. I think that we should almost be thanking them for getting this shoe to us (assuming it IS that accurate) for under 200.

And..again assuming it is that good...it is a luxury knockoff. Remember that the upper's material was a proprietary material, the shoe has a charger (as does the KO according to all the emails i've received). If they've gone to the lengths to replicate the shoe that we've been to led to believe they have, I have no issue with that price tag.

Yep. My entire post gets a firm boot up the ass if they are less than what we were promised. But if they are, i'm going to be very thankful for that price.

As I have said, if these bomb, I'll pull them apart. If they rock, I'll buy another pair or 2 even at the grossly inflated price.

this thread is awesome! I'm still obsessed with Nike Mags! just thought I'd stop by and see people's progress, interesting to read about the V2's, I hope they materialise, and I hope they are closer too the originals, the movie version, and the official release have great proportions, for me it's the slope down to the front of the sole that is critical, and the semi rigid 'hi top', just looking at some shots of the 2011's, the build quality is so good, I take my mcfly cap off to all who embark on the mag replica epic! holding out for the 30th!

The 30th should be the day the resellers get them and they start to ship. I'd say we would them 7~10 days after that. That is of course provided the factories making them are on schedule.

here's my take on what i can see from the pics i just got.

Uppers - grey looks spot on, but "suspect" stitching on the uppers, especially the tiny hole slits near the top. It looks ten times better than the crappy first knockoffs though! Not space agey fabric, but still good job on the uppers!


ankle buckle strap holder - Good job! 95% right, right shape, but slightly flat like the first mag knockoff one. I guess they should have made this a little more "rounded" if im being picky.

toe area - still not flat, but can live with it. Seems just like the first knockoff mag toe.

Lace Area - perfect, looks spot on! raised laces under grey fabric looks fantastic.

heel cup - EXCELLENT JOB - pretty much perfect. The LED's are yellow, orange and red, and seem to look great.

Grey rubber Soles - Perfect, splatter on everything, looks great! 100% job on this!

Clear sole - Looks great!, waffle pattern, all there. Doesn't flay out like the real ones though, but good enough for a cheap replica.
But these seem to have LED Lights rather than EL Sheet cutouts. Although not certain!?

EL Lights? - can't see any light on strap (might have this on by the time it leaves factory, but pictures ive got, there's no EL light on either strap or the soles. I was told they have had real problems getting EL Lights on these?! don't know why!

Still, a massive improvement over the first knockoffs.

I agree still cool and affordable.If you got them at $129 consider that a steal.I thought they would look waaaaaaay more accurate to the officials.I can't believe they couldn't execute an exact match to be honest but oh we'll ill be rocking mine around
