I have always wanted a nightwing mask that has the white eye effect, without using contact lenses and without restricting vision. So when i found these online
I knew i could manage it with the extremely basic equipment i own.
I started off with some recycled bicycle helmet padding, cut it to size and glued them on for the spiky bat winged shape:
Not bad so far. Then sat down with a bit of semi-stolen-from-wife white paint, and painted some eyes:
Ok, so in bright light it looks a little... Rough. In low light, though...
...it does not look much better.
No matter, i have almost full visibility and have mildly achieved the effect i was looking for. They will go well with my arkham/injustice inspired escrima.
Just one more photo. Taken outside at night, just to see...
