Hey guys

Tinkering around with this kit right now, not done anything for a while so im a bit rusty lol.
Scratchbuilt new visor supports from brass and also made a new guard rail from 2mm brass too.
Its took a bit of work to get the head where it is now (mostly 'cos im anal to the point of being irritant lol) just mainly re doing some of the gun mount rings, but overall its getting there now.
Im using a few donors here and there (sdkfz 222) etc) to get this as clean as i can.
Just started out on the legs and chassis, lots of filling and tweaking to do, but TBH this is a really nice little kit if the effort is put in!
Itll be supported by a micro Panavise (thanks for the idea Eric Choi :)) to stop any sagging!

Hey its just a little brother - someday he'll be just like his big bro... :lol

Seriously the little one is pretty darn nice too if nto 100% accurate finish it and put it on the "bay"... or use in in a forced perspective diarama with larger one...

Your mods look really good. how different are they form what came with the kit though? Not having the kit Its tough for me to tell how much of an improvement it is other then to say it looks darn nice :)

Thanks guys, Andre, yeah its good to be messing around again lol. Dade, the kit railing isnt too bad accuracy wise, its just a little yucky being cast in resin is all, not bagging on it, its just my brass one can now be scratched into when i paint his sucker to get it very accurate paint wise to the prop buddy!

The little walker head wont get finished lol, it was taken from the same plans Julien used and way off in size and proportions, mainly the fact non of the kit parts used to scale it, are to scale with the real ROTJ prop, it was a learning curve, but hey, ill soon be building an ESB head huh lol.

Tinkering right now Flint, thanks buddy, the rail was a pig to do, so darn delicate, i think it was Steve who actually said the go motion props had them taken off as they just kept breaking, but as long as i dont dick with it too much itll be cool LOL.

Phew dont when that'll be Guy lol, just did a good sitting with the magisculpt to repair a lot of detail crud, hate those days spent filling and sculpting, its like you got no where fast LOL.

Hey Bro !

That's awesome ! Very clean work, you did some great work on it and you get a very accurate one !
Yeah when we look at the go motion mini, we can notice big blobs² of glue where the railing meets the feet they probably glued them more than once hahaha.

Cant wait to see more bro, keep up the good work ! :thumbsup

Eric, thanks bud, i doubt ill get much further than the head for a while as the legs and chassis will hopefully have new fully upgraded parts, im cleaning, filling and resculpting so much on the resin parts, i may as well go the whole hog and upgrade them to the right size as there far too small (legs) all thanks to Julien (tox) :).
I may finish up the head this week and even fully paint it soon, so its good to go, at least i can play with getting the right color mixed up and shot lol.
