Hey friends! I have been working on my newest ship for a while now. I thought I'd share a couple of shots. It is another N-scale ship, about 20 inches long, and will have a bunch of cargo containers riding along the spine as well as an interior cargo area for more fragile stuff. It is primarily styrene with some other model bits as well as 3d printed stuff. The engines light up, as well as the interior cargo space and the bridge. I am planning on getting the primer coat on it in the next couple of days! I should have this one all completed in the next week and a half or so, then on to making the build video
I digitally kitbashed these engines then printed them on my 3d printer
This is the section where all the engines will be located
I also digitally kitbashed the interior cargo area. Once that was printed, I painted all the bits and stuffed it into the cargo area.
The interior cargo area will have a bay door partially open to give a view into the interior workings of the ship
This is the bridge. I added a Dr. Pepper vending machine along the back wall. Gotta keep the crew happy!
She's starting to take a shape in this image. You can see a pair of drop ships along the spine. These are used to transport individual cargo containers to where they need to go.
Here's a recent shot into the bridge. If you look into the back, you can see the Dr. Pepper vending machine.
