Any plans on doing other bios than the Boar bio? I would kill to see Neca's Lava Planet bio to become a real 1:1 scale bio!
Only movie masks :) Think about other mask from Predator II (Brother Boar, City Hunter). Maybe some mask concepts from AvP:R by Steve Wang.

Hello, folks! That's my first prop in AvP universe — movie mask of Wolf (bio). Started to design in 3D from planar mesh. Right now it's on unfolding stage.

1st stage. Preliminary forms (symmetric halfs) and wrong proportions.

2nd stage. A bit closer to movie model has better shapes but not so good.

3rd stage. Almost done.

Added horns and laser targeting module for correct appearance.

Exported as .3ds and ready to unfold in PD.

Hi, I converted this file to PDF do you know what percentage to print the pages out?

I prefer to convert to PDF too. I printed it on A3 paper sheets (420 x 297mm).
As far as I know, in this process the scale of the model still the same as in PDO file. So you can use any paper formats as you want. All you need is recombine elements on sheets for economy.

Two copies with different paint methods — old (left) and new (right).

It's for second mask:
1. black primer (acrylic, spray);
2. basic layer (alkyd metallic, spray);
3. copper elements (acrylic copper metallic, brush);
4. 1-2 layers of shade/wash (black oil paint with solvent) and drying/cleaning with toilet paper;
5. highlighting (chrome silver, dry brush);
5. 1-2 layers of matte varnish.

Amazing. Stunning piece of crafstmanship.

Just to clarify. You coat the inside with a few layers of resin and then sand off the outer paper layer, after which you then cover that with some compound and then sand to get the shape?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you! It's my biggest project at this time. I'm lazy man :)

About the process step by step:
1. Epoxy resin + filler (fumed silica for thickening effect) inside of the paper model.
2. Around 2-3 layers of fiberglass (250 g/m2 glass fabric + epoxy resin) on previous layer of resin.
3. One finishing layer of epoxy resin with the same fumed silica for smoothing surface.
4. Smoothing and sanding.
5. Work with epoxy putty.
