New Tomenosuke Blaster Pro "Retail" version

From the previous versions I've been looking at on Youtube, it does dry fire and the cylinder rotates as a real revolver would. So I'm hoping it does!

Yes, I'm certain it will. I have the first Tomen offered and it is a robust design. You can do the ever so cool Hollywood flip the cylinder closed without damaging anything.
Unlke an actual revolver your NOT supposed to that. The trigger pull feels nice and you get a nice snap when the hammer falls.
I did notice on my first Tomen the cylinder would not lock fully in place when pulling the trigger, the cylinder remained a little loose, so you would see the laser sight moving a little bit during trigger pull.
Not something you would want of course. So hopefully they have fixed that little bug as well.

I was hoping for lighted green LED sights but looks like that is not happening.

Also hope the bolt handle is secured a little better when closed, tends to be loose.

Just wire them up! I do on my OW M2019 and it is a nice effect! I guess since they didn't light up in the movie they're sticking with that design...

Yeah, if they ever did light up they were so dim as to be impossible to tell. I never could see them lit ever.
For sure you want a hidden switch to also keep them off.

How hard is the Tomen to mod for that? I imagine the kits were accomdating but I've not thought about taking apart my Tomen to see.

There are 2 small screws that hold it onto the side plate..you should be able to remove them and see how it was made...my guess would be it is hollow and probably made of die cast metal or aluminum... if it isn't hollow and you gave a drill press and a good set of Brad Point drill bits you can drill it out to make it hollow...

Does the trigger move?

*EDIT*

Shooooot. I thought my internet blacked out when I hit the post key. My mistake. I didn't mean to ask this question a second time to appear redundant or difficult.

I'm going to just assume yes since it will be just like the other Pro versions.

I did get a confirmation that it will be coming with the dummy ammo rounds :thumbsup

Sorry about the repeated question. Thought the first one didn't go through. This sounds exciting!

Dummy rounds included? SWEET!!!!! Very happy to hear that. This will definitely be a grail prop for me for sure.

When I sold my original Pro to a member here who shall not be named... he had to drill out the sight rod to get the LED's wired up. It was not easy.

Seems a bit too much risk, given spare parts are not exactly available. Seems keeping the origiinal parts aside and swapping in a hollow part would make the most sense. Then you can always put it back to original condition.

Was it plastic or metal?! I drilled out my plastic one for my Off World... it wasn't easy but it wasn't too hard either? I'm hoping this version, I'm getting a kit, allows for wiring the green LEDs... if not, I have extra pewter cast site rods. I'll just swap one of my other ones out for the kit one...problem solved!...I hope?!?

So I take it the barrel is plastic, what about the bolt, rear receiver cap, and cocking lever?

AND, will there be a run of metal replacements for the barrel and other parts if so? Just wondering what my options would be, not saying I would.....

I'm thinking of doing a barrel run...and possibly a run of the slotted screw and site rods etc...but I'm not positive.
