Picked up a Tomenosuke 2049 Blaster Pro kit a few weeks ago off eBay. Got a pretty good deal on it and I've been wanting a Tomen for years.
I finished the metal pieces with Brownells Oxpho Blue cold-bluing solution, sans the outer grip frame and cylinder covers, which were done with Rust-Oleum gloss black paint.
The revolver barrel, cylinder, and frame were finished with DuraBlue Polished Black 2-part epoxy paint and lightly brushed with 0000 steel wool to take down a bit of the shine.
I fashioned new springs for both triggers using music wire in approximate gauges. The cycling/action is much more realistic, now.
I ordered a set of dark amber grips to replace the yellow amber ones that came with the kit.
I am pretty thrilled to finally have this addition in my BR collection
