New Spidey Suit for The Amazing Spiderman 2

I saw this picture that someone else made online.
Like i said, this is not my work, but it's an interesting idea. I wonder how these lenses would look on the Garfield Spidey suit?

There's something...silly about those lenses, but I do like the concept. Something about it just needs to be tweaked a little. Maybe thicker lenses?

The eyes themselves look about the right size it's just the black is not thick enough. It should be at least three times as thick as it is in that picture.

Well, I made a spidey mask to participate in a costume party. I'm a really fan of JR Jr's art, so I decided to make it inspired in his work.

Not just because I made it, but i'd like to see something like this on the movie!

Um -- No and No

In 1988, McFarlane joined writer David Michelinie on Marvel's The Amazing Spider-Man beginning with issue 298.

The Romita boys have two very distinct styles - IMO Jr ain't got nothing on his old man - but I'm bias because that was the Spidey I grew up on. His (Romita Sr's) Spider-Man was on EVERYTHING a young boy in the 70's would want - stickers, lightswitch covers, beach towels --

I think Romita's son art would be nice!!! :rolleyes

If i had to go with a bigger set of lenses, i would go with the Romita Jr. ones. Personally, i like the smaller more squinted ones though.

I'm a big continuity freak, so design changes (especially those that are not explained) really get under my skin.

In Raimi's version of Spider Man, there wasn't an obvious change in the looks of his suit in ANY of the movies... Just sayin.... Another reason why i like Raimi's movies better...

Well, I Hope The New Suit Will be more inspired by the comics while keeping elements of the 1rst one, Here's what i think that could be done for this suit: first of all, Add The trademark waist "Belt" red stripe, for the gloves, more red areas while keeping some of the original configuration, Make the suit in 7 separate pieces to make it more practical & bigger eyes. By The Way, i think that they will use the utility belt shown in the videogame & introduce the Spider-Tracers. Voilà, That's The Perfect Suit For TASM 2 (or whatever title they will add).
Hey Guys,What Do You Think of My Vision Of A Perfect Spidey Suit for the sequel ??

I gotta say I'm happy they are re doing the suit I didn't like it. Liked the originals from the first 3 movies. Just sayin I expected a better suit for ASM and I hope my expectations are met with ASM2.

Depends on what you call obvious...the back spider changed pretty drastically and the front spider was enlarged between films. I would say that's equal to making the eyes a little bigger.

Also, why should it seem so strange that pete would upgrade his suit? The only explanation needed is that his other one got wrecked in battle and he needed a new one. So why does it have to be the exact same?
