New Series Cyberman Pepakura files

Not much need to buy Pepakura Designer if you're just an assembler. Just write down your scaling factor and scale it each time. Put that $ towards your raw supplies instead.

I am finally coming around to working on this project (with finals finally over) and needed to ask one very important question so I am not wasting paper and ink.

I DLd all the files so can I now print them all or would they need to be flipped? I read the post where one did, but now I don't know if they all do, just that one or none.

Thanks in advance.

yep in the 2d menu there is something called invert pattern
3d pic will stay the same but Pieces on the right will change and will need to be moved.

best to look at a photo as I dont have any peps files to hand.

OHHHH.... now I get it (I think). I was thinking had to use the program to flip the file or something alot harder then the right leg is the left leg. Thanks again for your help unheard! Will start printing it after work.

I seen some one mentioned the ear pods, but Im not finding them, can someone tell me where they are or a link.

Thanks.

Unheard, I have no clue.

I had to rewatch some you tube videos just to make sure I would be cutting it right. I think my age is now catching up to me.

Thanks so much for the link to the ears, excited to see when movieman does the feet and hands, such great work.

Movieman..your my hero. Life time coolness points.:thumbsup

Another quick question because in the back of my mind I am having doubts. The files are for somebody 5'8-6'2" if I remember correctly. I am 5'7.5. Would it be advised to just use the files as are (not sure if that .5 inch height would make a difference) or scale it down. The program will reduce it 10%, but I am scared to death to try that option...but if it would fit much better, then I don't mind.

Thanks for all the help so far!!

remember you may want padding

Guess I had not thought that far ahead. I will just leave the files as is then.

I had done a search for the gloves but did not find it with the 12 pages of results. Will look again once I am farther in on this build. This will take long enough with summer session of classes starting today.

I'm interested in building one as well, and so far i have the helmet that was offered at TESCO's. I was wondering if anyone had the back mold section to the helmet and if not could someone please point me in the right direction for it an other parts that are molded if avalible. Thank you greatly and cheers!

this may help others too.

Making a Millennium FX Replica  Cyberman Helmet wearable

I would use this info too.

" In order to ge the "brushed" metal look, Neill and his team instead used the cold cast method where real aluminium powder is added to polyester resin, which is then added to the mould (and subsequently backed with fiberglass). The ration of real aluminium powder to the resin is 1.5 to 1 so certainly by weight there's a lot of metal in it."

this will save you painting but will make the suit heavy.
