I didn't even know they were making a WOK comm.

I think this is our first look at the completed Tricorder isn't it?

I'm just hoping that they hold with this matching phaser and comm trend and we get a ST:III Phaser and Comm next year.

Though, I'm be even more trilled if they'd just make a Klingon disruptor. I don't even care which version. I just want one with lights and sounds that isn't a micro sized version like PlayMates made.

I like the WOK comms. Someone here once had a theory that they were used for those training cadets - and since then I liked them. I definitely like them more than I like the new JJ comms

That WOK comm looks pretty-damn accurate.

Also, that tricorder looks very different from the last two previews that I saw - looks pretty good for a toy.

Though the med scanner looks to be way off.

Is that medical tricorder scanner (pictured in first item in this thread) screen-accurate? Here was the original prototype with a different scanner:

'Screen-accurate' would depend on which prop, in which chop-shopped condition, in which TOS episode.

But, yeah, it looks pretty close for a toy. Based on the photo it would not take much to make it look virtually identical to more than one hero screen appearance, IMHO.

There's a lot of metal on that Tricorder so I'm thinking it's a modded out HMS (or whatever they were using for the other proto pics.

That "engineering scanner" they include with the Science Tricorder is a rare one.. .appears all the time in the show but never gets a closeup.

WOK communicator. I didn't think secrets like that were possible these days. I may have to pick one up. The tricorder is what I expected. I may just pick up the medical version for the screen and scanner. I still have my MR so I have the "science" version covered. The Geo was never a favorite of mine anyway...

For $50 it better be full sized.

I remember when they first announced it, they said it was gonna cost $30. I said there was no way they could do it for that price. A bunch of people argued with me about it. Good to see that I was right as usual :lol
