Awesome.................
I cant tell you how happy we are that everyone is enjoying the kit.
Its really been a labor of love as we REALLY dig the show.
Thanks for the nice words. And Special thanks TO CAPT CARDBOARD,
This kit is as nice as it is because I spent time Watching how Scott made his molds, etc.
I have learned SO much from him its not even funny, not to meantion the quality of his KIT is what inspired and guided me. He is an exceptional model builder and a good friend. As soon as I find his address Im sending him a special Thank you card with Wings. If any of you have it shoot it to me will ya.
Please, for those of you that are new to resin building, you have a TON of experience at your fingertips with your fellow model builders. JUST ASK US.
Also, the BSG Group is a great place to post pics of your kit as you build it, as well as share info.
I have already posted some pics of how and where I dremeled to install the lights.
I also added aluminum tubing to the upper engine detail panels. I just drilled through the fin parts and insert tiny tubes and it really kicks it.
Moe and I spent a 1/2 hour on the phone yesterday talking about the Mark Seven as well as the APOLLO version. We are going to offer the APOLLO version with a STANDING pilot brandishing a blaster, as well as a seated version in case ya want him flying. The kit will also feature a landing gear option.
I will still drill the kit for the stand, so that will have to be filled if you decide to make it with the gear down.
Have fun.
