Ok..getting a few IMS asking about BLUE PRINTS!
BLUE PRINTS ARE FOR PU%$Ys!!

If you got pics....thats all you need.

Yeah there are some great shots of it in the Mags that are out. As well as the ol tried and True FREEZE Frame on the TIVO!
You can get some nice shots for reference.

Ofcourse, its nice to have an EYE for proportion, and I have met few who are as talented as teh folks on this board (studio scale), as well as my two friends Morten Moeslund and Tim Ketzer.

For those of you who think that its not possible to build a model from available photos.

You have never met Moe or Tim.

The three of us have been building a STUDIO SCALE FALCONS for the last several Years. Well..MOE and TIM completed thiers, Mine is almost done.

Check out the Falcons

Frank I agree. If you want to build a replica then find and download "ALL" of the ref pics you need. Then develop the model from there. It's pretty easy to do if you really study your project throughly.

I've got a tube of studio/production posters around here some place that a friend gave me. It has all the 'real world' dimensions of the new ships....every ship. I was shocked at the size of some. Every single detail is visable in the photos (top, bottom and side)

It was used by the CG guys to scale everything out in the new Galactica universe.

I'll look for it when I get a chance. I was meaning to Ebay them soon anyway.

How do you do it?

Funnily enough, I'm watching this right now! I love this craft! Question for you. Whose callsign are you going to add to the side?
I'd love to have one of these! (hint hint!)

How do I do it - good question - I just do it.
-and what kind of answer is that Moe...
First of all I look and look at the ref. mat. I have, try to find more if possible, when I think I have a feeling of the
ship it's lines etc. I start building. Im a lazy person, so I hate doing things twice, which means that I constanly think of a good way do build the stuff.
Callsign, well, I don't know, can't watch the show here - who is hero??
