The attention to detail jumps right out at you just at a glance. Amazing work. Can't wait to see what you do next. :thumbsup

I haven't read through all 13 pages of this thread, so I'll just repeat what has, no doubt, already been said multiple times:

"It BELONGS in a museum!"

I just want to thank all the guys, from the COW forum and here, who were involved in helping the Cross of Coronado come into existence. If it weren't for all your Anal-Obsessive-Compulsive-Perfectionist-Disorders, this Cross would not look as good as it does!:lol:thumbsup
It was a great Team Effort!

I also want to give a great big thanks to Philip (Rebelscum) for giving up his time in helping me get the cross body and Mother of Pearl cut out with his laser machine! It would definitely not look this good without his help!:cool:thumbsup

Meanwhile at skywalkers ranch, George lucas discovers that the Real Cross of Coronado have been stolen from the archives.......

WOW, WOW, WOW, not to mention WOW!!!!

Absolutely amazing work as always Brenton:thumbsup

All the detail on this cross is.... I'm trying to think of the right words to do it justice but my mind is drawing a blank!! ha ha

Yeah Brad, I have to thank you as well for getting this going, and like Brenton said, to everyone else who helped him in the early stages! Thanks guys!!!!!!!!

Great job, and thanks again for all the amazing updates!!!!!!!

Andy

No thanks neccessary, it was purley selfish of me to pester Brenton until he caved in and did it.

The only thanks goes to Brenton, Philip and all those who were anal enough about the demensions to make this happen!

What are you working on next Brenton. :love
;)

Thanks Brad! You already know what's coming next on the list!

But.... for the others not in the know, the Raven Bar Ra Headpiece is next on the list! This Headpiece doesn't have the same details as the Archives Book Headpiece, such as the feather details, but what stands out, is that on one side, there is Hebrew writing on the feathers of the wings. It definitely stands out on it's own from the other Headpiece!:love:thumbsup

Beautiful work as always.

Color me intrigued by this new Headpiece of Ra as well. From the description, it sounds like some tiny writing if it fits on the feathers but I know you're up to the challenge!

I know many people have talked about the differences between the regular headpiece and Marions headpiece. I really never thought anyone would take it on and to have Brenton be the one to tackle it. Wow... Very neat! :love

Very interesting. I've been told before that this writing exists but you cannot see it in the film due to the reflections and in the one very clear shot (without plating) I have of this headpiece from the archives I can see no writing on it except for the outer edges just like the standard piece. The only difference I see is the writing is different and the outer edge is much smaller, one of many differences between the two.

The Raven Bar/Well of Souls Headpiece is a totally different Headpiece than the one in the archives book. There are no feather details as you can see from the "Well of Souls" scene, and we also can't see the hebrew writing details on the feathers, which is on the other side of the Headpiece that is never seen.

A truly beautiful piece. You can clearly see the passion and dedication which has gone into producing this. Bravo!

Oh, I know all about these headpieces and have been studying them for years. It's just that the Raven Bar piece is the elusive one even to get any pics of, period. I only have a clear shot of the front of the piece but you're telling me that the writing on the feather area is on the back only?
