NEW! (Metal) Cross of Coronado - Progress Thread

Oh, I know all about these headpieces and have been studying them for years. It's just that the Raven Bar piece is the elusive one even to get any pics of, period. I only have a clear shot of the front of the piece but you're telling me that the writing on the feather area is on the back only?

Correct! The Hebrew letters/symbols are only on the wings of one side, of which are never seen onscreen (Not sure why!). I've got reference pics of the original prop that are as you say very "elusive". So, this will be an accurate interpretation of the original!:love:thumbsup

Amazing you say!!!! umh.... they're not too bad I guess. ha ha

Awesome

Brenton, your hard work has certainly paid off. I had no doubt of the beauty of the final product when you said you were going to tackle this project. Congratulations!

Stunning beautiful... the best of all time.

And, I'm SO excited about your new ongoing project! I can't even find words for that, too! :love

As we have so many talented people here I was wondering if anyone can do a bit of photoshop work on this image, initially posted by Sarednab:

It's such a great picture of the screen used cross, but the fact that it has the two bottom images of the computer game on it ruines it... As I'm no expert on how photoshop works I was wondering if this image can be restored to what it would have looked like without the computer game images over the top??? Is it possible to delete these images and recreate the sand and small sections of the whip that are covered? If anyone is up for the challenge I would love to see this done!

Sorry Brenton to hijack your thread, but I just wanted an unspoilt image of the original film used cross to show how accurate and excellent your cross is!

Thanks!

That was quick!!!!!

Thanks Brad, that's exactly what I was looking for! It looks like the game pictures were never there.... Is it quite easy to do??

Thanks again!

Funny thing is, is that I don't use photoshop! I use Paint Shop Pro.

Brad

I haven't used PSP in years....I actually make my living using Photoshop...but, it's good to see PSP is still around and at a level that can compete with PS. Is it still made by JASC?

Yep. It's not on the same level as Photoshop but for what I use it for...it works.

I am just lazy and haven't learned PS.

Brad

I'm in the same boat as you! I've got the latest Photoshop... but just can't get away from PSP!

Kind regards,
Indy
