sabres, you shorten the pic selection? it's all good and everything, i just was gettin' stuck wonderin what angles we didn't have anymore.
anyway, hez, don't think you have anything to even compete with here brother! i saw the full scale review on your gort 2 bio... holy ****, i don't think i've ever wanted anything so bad, ever!! that thing looked like a real alien hunter puts that ****** on to go deep into the **** man! i couldn't believe it!!
sorry i know where talkin about the figure here, and trust me, from what i see in it's early stages, this thing will be worth it, if you like the GORT PRED that is (which i do!!)
yes this hot toys version does look pretty good, i hope that all those close ups are just the rough draft though (which i've kinda been countin on this whole time) cause there are a thing or two i would change, nothin big, just bein' picky i guess. for one , i'm pretty sure anyway they were just test fitting, but the crown of the bio needs to go back a centimeter or two, and obviously they didn't do any weathering to this bio, which it will need a lot of

Since it hasn't been officially announced by Hot Toys, those are the only pics we have so far.

Here are the release times so far:
350 pieces available on 17th of July..... 150 pieces on the 18th of July.
No confirmation yet on whether Sideshow will get some of these or not like they did with the other exclusives.
My bet is they will, but they'll go QUICK.

Honestly, I may get one just to flip.
This is probably going to be like the other HT exclusives...HUGE markup on the secondary market after it's sold out.
I really wish NECA would make these as well.

Just got confirmation from Hot Toys that Sideshow WILL be distributing these in the U.S.

yay now i just gotta fix my account with them either way i will have one... or two, damn so their comin out with this before the "predators" preds huh?
and ya the color scheme seams very different from the gort pred we all know, they probably did that since the gorts body was a P2 skin originally, and maybe they didn't want to make there P2 production paintups look even worse or maybe they just wanted to feel like they're giving us more of a new figure instead of a repackaged P2, i can dig it (even though my ass 'll probably end up repainting him anyway...)
that's so awesome, got one comin out just in time for the new movie i guess, to hold us over till the new ones come
EDIT: and ya sabres, that left gauntlet was always pretty huge, i guess to fit the little rocket mechanism in there, but ya it's sticks out twice as far as it should. but damn that bio looks pretty sweet close up, they better keep the lenses that way too, i miss the transparent hot toys lenses, there P1 woulda been so much better with them...
