yyyuuuup... im waiting for a phone call see if she managed to snag one for me
Things aren't looking good. Guess I'll have to hope CSS gets some Parks MPPs or somebody sells the old removable blade Vader for a reasonable price on eBay soon.

Okay ... so I just happen to come accross an auction on ebay that had this :
... however with the TFA Kylo Ren logo drawn on the box ... and brand new :
it's the Barbican version of the MPP ... however next to Vader's 'crispy burned' helmet, could his mechanical hand with saber be seen on screen in a cameo? Or is this just a gimmic for on the wall?

My buddy got that along with the last KR FX. $40 at Target. You can hang it so Vader's hand with saber is coming out of the wall. Has a lit blade.

While I was in Target this morning, I also something that caught my attention..
So, apparently there are these new, short bladed foam sabers. Obviously aimed at kids beating each other senseless.
Sounds cool right? Where were these when i was young?
Anyway..
Have a look at the Luke saber:
This is obviously based on the TFA Graflex,
Things that really caught my attention were the opening at the grips, that is similar to the hole on Kylo's saber, the hex screws on the T tracks, the ESB board, the pins where the eye should be and the 'mylar tape' strip.
Could this be our first glimpse of the hero or stunt?

Yup/ Picked up a Luke version for my son on Amazon, along with the Stormtrooper blaster. These are Nerf products. They were out of the Kylo Ren Force FX, so my boy will get some pretty awesome toys tomorrow but none for dad
Im pretty sure the open part near the grips is on all of those sabers, its for the connecting ports, they just want it to look obvious. But those other details are very interesting. And those exposed pins are actually where the red button would be.

I thought the idea was to have a bottom on the hilts that could be removed and then insert the connector. The open end is just so stupid. The whole concept is stupid. I am predicting these will be crowding the clearance shelves and hopefully next year a better designed batch of toy lightsabers.
