New Hasbro Toy Lightsabers

AAAghh... Got another response:

Yes what I'm selling is of the new black series fx that just came out. Yes I
have the new series with me on hand. But no the blades are not remove able, it's
permanently attached.

Awe, man... :facepalm

Edit:

Asked him if he had inspected it and knew it was not removable and he responded:

The box doesn't say that's it's removable. Normally it would say it. So I'm
assuming that's it's not remove able. I haven't taken the merchandise out of the
box. I have it there un open.

Jeez, this is killing me...

insert sad face :(

I was told that ultra force sabers converts the old hasbro sabers to removable blades. I emailed the site about a week ago.. haven't heard anything back

maybe once these come out some one can fab up a conversion kit ?

And yet another response:

I am not sure whether or not the blade is removable on this one. I think the
signature edition has a removable blade type.

Yeah, the one guy I wrote to said, "It's permanent. Makes the realistic sound when turned on and swung around/hit into objects. $200.00 new when purchased it functions perfectly. Thanks for the interest."
..
Did you send info to the guy with the Black Series sabers on the shelf? Cause if so he is definitely selling a fixed blade saber as it is a 2005 Master Replica. Just has pics of the new ones in his ad.

Nah, I couldn't find it again when I went back to message people.

Damn, just missed an old removable blade Vader for $178.50.

I missed it too... :cry

if you guys are referring to the eBay vader I missed it as well, I book mark these eBay links and then forget about them looking at so much stuff

Not really sure why people makes statements like this. A true statement would be:

"A lightsaber just sold on eBay for $178.50."
or
"I just missed a chance to bid on an auction for a lightsaber."
or
"I missed the chance to drive up the bidding on lightsaber."

Not sure why people who see an item that sells for a decent price and missed it assume they would have been able to buy the item at or near that price. For all you know, the winner had a preset max bid of $300... $400... $700... Etc.... So even if you bid, there is no guarantee that you could have got it for close to that price.

Sorry for the rant, just a pet peeve of mine.

I sniped it at 3 seconds left and was highest bidder but got outbid at 1 second... Didn't have a bladeplug or box though.
