Is the Vader with removable blade worth anything? I have that one.

Boy the grips on these things get sticky! Both my Vader and the the unremovable ANH Luke were horrible.
Took a lot of elbow grease and alcohol to remove the tackiness.
I suspect it will come back though.

I removed the stickiness of my Luke and Vader FX sabers back in Dec 2013... Still no hint of stickiness.

i picked up the half maul removable blade saber for $75 dollars during Christmas special sale on entertainmentearth.com. Unfortunately because all the other funds being spent at the time, I felt the need to limit myself to one.

i very much like the Kit Fisto fx. I was able to get that when they first hit the market and the price was only $110 but RedfordfFilms.com had one of their 20% off deals and I got it $88 with free shipping.

Yep ... it's worth a lot more than when it came out first ... I scored one for my customer rather cheap, since the seller thought the leds did not work ... but with a little contact spray ... works like a charm ... I mean lightsaber

Good idea on bringing the batteries to test it in store. If it's just a reissue it's easily returnable without having to drive back to the store

Meh, if anybody says anything I'll just let them know that FXs are known to have issues out of the box (which is unfortunately true) and that I'm not buying one without testing it first.

Not only that but Star Wars fans are so rabid I expect the security personnel are afraid of getting bit...

So are we positive the three normal sabers have fixed blades or just educated guessing because Kylo's is fixed? Do we have ANY shot that maybe they only had to do Kylo's like that because it would be too difficult to have 3 removable blades?

We will find out in a few hours. Based on the new stands I assume fixed blade but there is an image of the ANH Luke and the blade and hilt combined look longer than the box. Yet, I could be suffering from delusional hope.
