New Efx lightsaber: Luke from The Mandalorian

Start here. Basically, a ROTJ Luke saber (with the side control box) and a stand included (close enough, but not perfect). On sale down to $125 for Amazon Prime Day. Also a video at the Amazon site link below.

Damien Sabers has their budget ROTJ Luke for $119; no stand, and does not have the side control box on the saber.
Luke Saber Force FX Heavy Dueling Light Saber Infinite Color Changing with 16 XRGB3.0 Sound Fonts Sensitive Smooth Swing-Damien Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd.

Both of the above sabers are base lit (the light is in the handle, with a polycarbonate empty blade) but the lighting is still good. They both include the blade.

You are looking at a jump in price if you want LEDs IN THE BLADE ITSELF. The most common "type" of LED bladed systems you will come across are Neo-Pixel or Xeno-Pixel blades. Has more effects and looks "cooler" and can certainly do more.

If you want a GENERIC, NO SW specific character saber, there are multiple options starting around $75 or so.

Here is the UltraSabers take on Qui-Gon Jinn, at $159 (BTW UltraSabers allows to you to customize and add features you desire):

Oh wow, thats probably more than perfect really. Thanks.
Wasn't really planning to buy anything yet, but thats not too bad that I might as well take advantage of the sale.
And then little by little look for the rest.

I know nothing about electronics and making stuff like lights work....but if I could figure something out, or find someone around here that could help, it would be a cool idea to somehow hook them all up to a power source, hiding any cables, so with a flip of a switch, they all light up. But, who knows, might not be do able, at least with my knowledge.

I keep having all these small Amazon buys lately....drivers are going to be sick of stopping here....lol.

So something I didn't even think about. After googling sabers and buying the ine off Amazon, now ALL my ads are all the different companies making these type of sabers.
Most are these over the top $400 and up ones to even fight with.
Its pretty nuts.
Its funny the ones that aren't licensed but clearly copying the real ones, probably with slight changes.
The Grapflex was like, The Chosen One saber. Something like that.
And other names that try to get around the legal issue.
It's just funny.

Literally. Every licensed replica is just garbage. Somehow even when they "have access" to the original prop it's inaccurate. Also I much prefer to support individual creators who do it for the passion over the corporations just churning out garbage to make a quick buck

Me too. I own very little in the way of official merch. It just doesn't do anything for me. What I can't make myself I buy from other fans who can. I like to support other small businesses too and promote good work. I have no interest in feeding the machine if I can help it.

I'd stay away from Ultrasabers. They have a reputation, and it's not a good one. SaberForge too.

I second that advice wholeheartedly. Both companies have been banned from most of the prop communities and they've operated and in some cases flourished because they silence any criticism with death threats, slander, or bald face lies. I have proof of some of their theft too. They are essentially recasters in the saber world and their products are garbage.

Yeah, probably a good idea to have a list of the bad ones to stay away from, since there a quite a lot to chose from.
I've really never attempted to actually decide to buy one like now.
While I don't need everything to be 100% perfect, I also don't want it to be obviously terrible and perhaps fall apart if I were to just hold it or whatever.
If I do end up having to get sabers from different sources, don't want them all to be vastly different, or maybe ones glow is really weak looking and another super bright.

Just a little confused by what you mean and what that has to do with asking about any type of sabers to try and buy.
A lot of company’s have been banned here for recasting or breaking the forum rules

So they have run to Facebook which is the wild Wild West of lightsaber sales to start over

That is the reason I'm asking here, as I pretty much have zero knowledge in this area.
The only ones I've even known and seen are the force FX ones.

Also if you do want to join a Facebook group to see more of what's out there, I recommend this one. The Vault: A Custom Lightsaber Community | Facebook it's a good group. Moderated by the likes Alan and Deanna Johnson of Vader's Vault. And Mr Lewis aka Slothfurnace.

There is a huge range of lightsabers these days. It can be quite overwhelming trying to sort through everything. Particularly since there's a load of crap. But then a load of really good stuff.

Price wise you can’t go wrong with black series sabers or the Disney parks

You want all the flashy lights and stuff then I would just grab something cheap from Txq
