I haven't cared for her since she first showed up. She's a big old rehash of the worst of all the new companions traits rolled into one nice annoying package. She certainly isn't the only mystery worth solving that's for sure.

Er, okay, and this too. :lol

I liked her well enough in the Dalek ep, Coleman does a decent job of serving up the rehash but that is what it is; Oswin is a total pastiche of recent companions. Engaging as a one-off, could get really annoying over the course of a series or two.

If she is a trap, then we have a ready-made in-universe explanation. A wee bit David Eddings for my liking though.

I have an alternate theory on Clara. A trap would be too obvious - she's a weapon. She's a special weapon to fight against The Great Intelligence created and placed in the path of The Doctor - sort of like The Doctor's own Excalibur.

Makes more sense for 11 and Clara to meet a 10 and Rose of the past, rather than any crossing of universes.
Personally I'd rather have seen Donna returning, and I'm disappointed that we wont be getting 9, or 8.
