There couldn't be a worse thing they could do to the show than to bring back Rose. If anyone, any character, needs to stay dead and buried, it's Rose.

I don't know about all this "someone dies" business. Remember when someone was supposed to die in the Donna season? Even in the last episode the Dalek predicts "Everlasting Death for The Doctor's most faithful companion" - yet nobody dies.

Argh. I think this is what they're doing with the whole "The Doctor rises higher than ever and falls harder" thing. When it happens, it'll end up being a disappointment - a non-event. His "fall" will end up being something relatively trivial.

Remember also, the Producers are trying to throw you off the scent about River - dropping TONS of hints that River is actually Amy.

We'll see. The only problem with last season, is that Matt Smith and the Who team have some pretty high expectations to live up to from last season.

Who says it's Auton Rory? Human Rory was wearing it in "A Christmas Carol."

I don't think so. While they never explicitly said he's defiantly human, The Doctor rebooting the universe was supposed to imply that everyone came back as they were (Amy's parents, Rory as human).

If you listen carefully, just after Rory says "How did we forget The Doctor?" and the scene switches focus to Amy jumping over the table, you can hear Rory say "I was plastic..." (indicating that he WAS, but not anymore).

It's also one of the many clues that suggest River might be Amy (especially if Rory still IS plastic): "I dated a Nestine duplicate once..."

Actually, it's my sincere (but slim) hope that River Song is actually Romana but for some reason she has to hide that from the Doctor. That would explain the unusual confidence, familiarity with the TARDIS, and it would ease my growing hatred of her character.

Either that or some kind of reformed Rani?

Also, yes, Rory is defiantly human.

I'll form a suicide pact with you. River was cool in the Tennant 2-part episode, but I found her to be the worst recurring character in Season 5. And I really like Amy, so I pray that Moffat doesn't ruin her character with some Amy=River ludicrousness...

I've been hearing (well reading) rumors about Amy and Rory's unborn child and whispers that this child will end up being Riversong. I suspect that this child will also be the "Impossible astronaut".

Starting to dread this new season...

As much as I love Doctor Who, I'm not willing to go THAT far (after all, the last 15 minutes of Lost sucked hard and I'm still around... ).

Anyway, it's more than likely just a rumor based on the clues they're trying to lay down, trying to throw us off.

I am still itching to see the rumoured new Cyberman heads
