This might be my new favorite Falcon

I previously hated artistic license on sidewalls

HI guys I am all Finished with my falcon. :D DSC00135.JPGDSC00137.JPGDSC00140.JPGDSC00144.JPGDSC00149.JPGDSC00147.JPGDSC00146.JPGDSC00155.JPGDSC00187.JPGDSC00164.JPG

Beautiful work! I love all the little details you added. Out of curiosity what kind of mounting system did you use. I havn't seen that before?

Its looking pretty killer man. Your lighting looks great!

I started mine but my Dremel died and after a couple of boxes of xActo blades I said to myself "screw this" and ordered another Dremel... it arrived yesterday :D. Also much to my surprise JB weld did not work on this unholy plastic... Picked up a different epoxy that supposedly works. Back to mine soon... Now that I have the proper tools ;).

Jedi Dade

Brilliant work there leyrich, paint job looks great!.

Got my Resin Parts from Tony & Mike stranded in German Customs at the mo :( (Bastardos...the custom of course :) ) but will pic up the package some time this week. I am on hold here with all projects at the moment...it is summer after all... want to finish my Tantive and then a Hasbro Conversion of the Slave One and THEN!!! I will give my 2nd Falcon a go. Probably close to X-Mas time....that means I should have seen SW VII and who knows maybe I turn it in to a Rey version :)

Oooooohh, leyrich, that mouting never occurred to me - I was thinking the mounting point would have to destroy some of the detail on the turret, but that's brilliant....I'm gonna steal it shamelessly. Did you keep the window framework to pop back in if and when you want? And Jedi Dade, thanks for that actually - you just saved me trying JB on it. Did you go with the regular stuff or the palstic-specific JB? For interest sake, because I have been wondering myself for some time, I can confirm that Sqaudron White ALSO doesn't adhere to it properly, even with the palstics sanded.

Thank you all for the cool comments here is all my FALCONS DSC00215.JPG

Yes I can put the window framework back in if I want .:D
