Hi Guys.
My 12volts Mini Fans arrived today so just want to share an idea I got, not sure if this was done already before, but anyway here it is...


The mini fans will be place just below the top rear engine grilles, it would not be attached to the grilles top itself but instead be fixed within the ship (i.e. because the engine grilles top is detachable if someone want to see the inside). The mini fans will be part of the scratchbuild engine mechanics.
Anyway the idea is to redirect the AIRFLOW to the Engine Exhaust Thrusters to simulate functioning sublight/hyperdrive function. The Fans will be on when the LED lights on.
I was thinking of using RGB LEDs change the color from RED-BLUE-Bright WHITE --the change in color also increase the Fan speed (i.e. using PWM signal)... Meaning I might use Arduino...tsk,tsk ,tsk...still a newbie there.
