Picked this up from Randy Johnson, sculpted and painted by Dan Grumeretz...it's 1/2 scale. The hands, eyes and chest light up.

Nice , great modification on the hands 
. I own both 1/2 MARK III statue and the 1/4 Mark VI statue from sideshow . I like the Mark III stand post compare to the MARK VI statue , im planning to sculpt a standing MARK VI statue after done year end work

I was told it was a sculpted piece . Only about 8 were made. One sold on ebay last week, but was the mark 2 version, all silver.

I really don't think we are. Could you please take some close up pics of the 4 angles. I can tell from the pics that the neck and helmet are in the exact same pose.

And that means it's recast? I just emailed the sculptor to get clarification . This is missing details that the sideshow statue has.. the two silver bracket looking things around the neck area.

This looks like my 1:2 Sideshow Iron Man only with the arms repositioned and no neck plates. Whats the arc reactor look like when the lights are off? I'm not saying for one minute its dodgy but it is very very similar.

Also, Dan is not known to be a recaster... in fact , he's sculpted pilot figures for the Viper models you guys see

The arc reactor is just a piece of clear plastic, flimsy in fact. Same for the lights in the hands.

Im at work right now, I'll take some tonight. What specifically do you want me to photograph?
Chest/ab area spine and neck/helmet area. The legs to if you can. But those areas would be the tells as there is some detailing in there that is all sideshow.

Ok, I'll do it tonight. I'd be really surprised if Dan is recasting cause that isn't his style. I know he sculpts figures. I'm dying to hear back from him. The quality of the arms and hands matches the rest of the piece and I know those aren't sideshows.. Their's has straight arms and fists.

I hope you haven't been ripped off but looking at it compared to mine the legs and head are from what I can tell are in the same position.
There's been a couple of Sideshow recasted Iron Men on Ebay recently and they didnt come with neck bars as these pics show.
