It was visually estimated at 11 x 14.5. But 11 x 15 would seem a more logical size. I've seen 11 x 15 journals on eBay before.

11 x 14 paper is available. 14 inch would allow half an inch on top and bottom if the cover is 15 inches high.
14 inch would allow a quarter inch on top and bottom if the cover is 14.5 inches high.
I believe this is a picture of the actual book. Does it look like half or a quarter inch from the bottom of paper to the bottom of the cover?
I think quarter inch. Which would indeed make the cover 14.5 inches, as estimated.
You might go a little over 11 inches on the width then if you are making your own cover.

Turns out the 11 x 14 is photo paper. I couldn't find any normal paper in that size.
In the US, a store like Office Depot will cut paper to the size you want. They charge for every cut they make, but it is affordable.
They cut a stack of paper in one cut.

Thanks in Italy this is possible too but is more exspensive for sure...Now, I saw again a film but there aren't any scene where is possible to determinate a font for inner page....sadness...
What inner page ? For the title page, you would just duplicate the font from the front of the book.

This isn't from the prop, it is from the book of "The Neverending Story".
In the hardback edition, the book's intertwining stories are set in alternating green and red font, depending on which world you were reading about ...If you can't find the prop font, this would be the next logical choice.
