NeoRutty's drunk and pitching TV/Movie ideas - Animated Horror/Comedy Short debut!

Thanks all, funny thing is I pitched 6 show ideas with this being the one I was least interested in making. They picked this one, because of GOT popularity. So I wrote the pilot, got greenlit for 5 more, then I got divorced.

At the same time, my co creator, Kev, didn’t like my original 5 scripts, so had me redo them... I was super pissed about my divorce so I based the new scripts on the fighting between me and my ex... it suddenly had a point.

The queens throne is designed after my ex’s wedding ring, ha.

If we get more I get to go after more He-man references, (Man-E-RACES will be fuuun to write) more GOT, and more of my ex’s annoying habits...

But to be fair, I put a lot of my annoying **** into Evan, so they both look bad.

I think there is something to the suffering artist.

Serling had a lot of WWII issues to work out.
Lucas had heart attack I think whilst making SW77 he was so stressed.

Makes things hit an emotional cord better.
Write what you know right?

Though I think Temple of Doom was written while
both those guys got divorced so beware of falling prey to birthing annoying
Willie Scott types. ;)

Dug up this old thread to post this short I wrote and edited!

Part of an anthology, they just dropped my episode on the Youtubes, so it's not longer behind a pay wall.

I think a few here would enjoy this...

I got a call from my buddy that he had an opportunity to pitch for this project, and asked if I could write it for him. We had very little money for animation, but I think it worked out pretty good! Our ability to do this on a shoe string led to a ton more work from the company... bigger projects I hope I can share down the line.

Anyway, here ya go! A horror comedy with a few nods here and there to some fave movies of mine...

OMG that was absolutely amazing loved every minute of that, brilliantly done

Thanks, Man!

first couple days were slow on YouTube but now picking up steam!

It's wild how hard it is to get eyes on anything, especially shorts, when it comes to smaller projects like this.

We did the film festival runs and killed... won tons of fests. Then landed on amazon... but our numbers are a drop in the bucket next to the amount of eyes you COULD get with even a series or indie film.

Best we did was at Kevin Smith's fest... mostly because it was a packed theater of fellow, middle aged horror comedy fans - our audience!
