So I've been using a customized "Utility Garter" to carry around my first-line weapons and gadgets under my skirt, and I hate it. Here's about how that went:

I thought it'd be better if I cut up the garter belt for my phone garter on my right leg and sew the straps to the hefty garter belt supporting my tactical garter:

That was BETTER, but even after sewing the straps in place at the right adjustments for me, it still ends up slipping down whenever I have to run or jump, and it's just super complicated, and cumbersome, and uncomfortable, and time-consuming, and probably going to get me killed, and I hate it so much it's making me want to give up superheroing lol. Sooo YEAH, I'm conceding to the advice of my predominantly-male-superhero-colleagues, and ditching my Supergirl-styled-shiny-gold-metal-fashion-belt and tactical utility garter belt system in favor of a big, ugly, clunky, scary-Batman-looking "utility belt". Ugh.

But yeah, anyhoo, I'm gonna need to make all that scary looking utility belt stuff gold instead of black; I'm not going for a cop look; I'm going for an approachable-family-friendly-classical-superhero look, and tactical-looking stuff makes that kinda difficult, ESPECIALLY if it's black, sooo, yeah, I need to make the outer belt and all the pouches a shiny gold; maybe even the equipment itself. I'm thinking airbrushing with Createx airbrush fabric paints, assuming they have a metallic gold color. Probably a base coat, then the gold, then a clear protective coat. I'm not super good at coloring tactical equipment; it was one of the other reasons I've been trying to hide everything under my skirt instead of in plain view; aside from maybe looking scary lol. So, that being said: I need help. ...In more ways than one, yes, but specifically in what I gotta do to make all that stuff shiny gold lol. Stow the comments about my mental health; I don't "need help" in that regard; I'm already seeing multiple therapists and a doctor of psychology; there's nothing more that can be done for me LOL.

PS: The materials to be colored gold are made from Duraskin, leather, nylon and maybe metal; those are the materials I need advice on coloring. ;)
