Need some Vac-Form advice

Hi. I'm working on a 1/24 A wing (At least I think it's 1/24...) and I'm planning to work on the Vac form cockpit shield.
I'm pretty Ok for the buck shape but I've no idea what would be the best material to Vac form it with.
I'd love it to be 1mm thick (0.04 inch)
Any idea/advice?

Not sure what size you need but you can find Plastruct clear sheets

You may also be able to use a large clear plastic food container that food comes in.
The kind that salads come in at a food bar or something like that.

PETG is a good clear plastic for vac forming.

I've heard that PETG can have some micro bubbles appearing when heated.... ?

Acrylic sheet makes clear parts with the best clarity. If doing male molding, make sure it is polished using car (carnuba) wax before using... and as smooth as you can make it before that!

I have never had that problem before, the PETG that I used was .040" thick.

I've already ordered PETG and Acrylic. I'm gonna test both.
