I recently got my Kirk desk replica (as seen in his quarters) built by our very own HDtheater here on the RPF. After I added my bridge chair it's now a working desk which I love. It now sits in the corner of my prop room but as you can see, thye two walls in front are bare. I'd like to put something on them that lends itself to a genera TOS theme.

I'd rather not do a poster or any Trek uniform pieces. I do have a god bridge plaque and a red intercom unit that I'm getting ready to put up but that's it.
I wecome any ideas to make this display complete!

Yeah, it was a kit off of eBay like 8 years ago. It needed a lot of work but I added lights and sound to it.

I know you said no posters, but what about rotating the table 90 degs. counter clockwise, put the chair between the table and the wall, and hang this framed picture behind you?

Awesome table and chair by the way!

And while I was cruising "Court Martial" pics, I spotted this wall art. Would look cool and is probably easy to make.

That is very cool! Now where do I find that reflective pattern...?

My local sub-shop has counters that look kind of like that.

Metal surface polished, and then circles lightly ground in.

Sort of like this....

The shops counters circles are in ordered rows, not overlapped and look more like the artwork.

Nice! Keep the ideas rolling, guys. I'm starting to get a feel for what I need to do.

Re: Need ideas for a Star Trek display

gonna have to scour over the web to look for it at party supply stores.
if we knew the pattern name it would make it 10,000 times easier.
