So I found a compac scope for my Greedo Killer. However, it is the wrong type of Compac

The only problem is that it is the wrong model scope. It is a 4x31 like the one pictured here.

So I wanted to strip the scope and use parts to make an acucrate copy. Now the bell part on my scope is the same as on the correct one. And I have a set of resin knobs and mount and front tip.

However, I need to replace the straight knurreled section and the main tube itself. So basically I need a plain tube and knurreled ring off of a scope of similar size that I can modify and screw the Compac bell on (I hope some of this makes sense). So what I'm asking fromyou guys is, does anyone know of a relatively cheep scope who's parts might be adaptable to a Compac scope.

Thanks

Isn't the real tube long enough to just cut down?
Seems a simple matter of cutting the front bell off (or unscrewing it if threaded) and replacing it with the resin front tip. Then just change out the knobs.
The knurled ring - what's wrong with it?

Adamata - Is the one to talk about for this.

The knurrel ring on this version is different than on the correct model. It has an additional lip that estends away from the bell (You cannot see this on your picture because the scope ring hides this).

The problem with the tube is that the knob mount doesn't come off of the tube like it does on thecorrect model compac. It is permanently attached to the main tube.
