Hey everyone, I made a post recently about a series of space guns I made of my own design that didn't really fit into any pre-existing threads. I feel like we all make stuff every once in a while that we think is really cool but has no real link to any pre-existing material. I hope to make this a thread where we can all share and talk about the weird stuff we make and want to share.
These are the Guns in question, I have a few more WIP pieces that ill be adding here as well in the future. Please feel free to ask questions and id be more than happy to take better photos.
Space Cowboy Rifle:
For this I used an old .50 cal black powder rifle I found in a junk bin as the base. Most of the parts are AV splitters and old capacitors, theres an old CRT coil on the barrel as well as a pneumatic piston as the barrel extension. Other misc parts are a weaver scope, hard rive bearing, auto vacuum lines, spark plug, and some weird pneumatic fittings I found at my local surplus store.
Sidearm Phaser:
Definitely not done with this one, still looking for a better scope than a copper tube, but I went for a more Star Wars look on this one with the side mounted scope like Han's DL44. The body is an old soldering gun, the barrel is an XLR thing (not really sure), and the rest are all pneumatic fittings and other junk outta my greeblie drawer. I want to add some kind of carry solution such as a holster or strap, still figuring that out as well.
