Like the title says, I need some help with leather wrapping a sword hilt (see pic).
I don't really have any experience in this area, so specific "how-to's" would be appreciated. Up until now, I've made wood or plasitc grips for my swords, and held them on with screws. I wanted to go in a different direction with this one. I'm not sure if I want to use a leather cord, or a flat leather band/strap. The holes in the hilt were originally going to be for screws, so they're just there "in case". I'm not opposed to adding a few more holes if needed. I was hoping the collective experience of the community would help inspire me or point me in the right direction.
