Need help ID'ing am old jacket

Hello again all. A friend of mine was given this jacket, he doesn't know anything about it other than it appears to be quite old. I don't know anything about clothing, let alone vintage, so I'm hoping some of the bright minds here might be able to ID it from the tags and markings.

Label may read: Henry Vincent (to my eye)

I have a doctor’s handwriting, myself, and can usually decipher “scribbling”.

Also…it could read “The Little Theater”, there is movie theater located in Rochester:

Can't read the month but def something 14-1938.

Scafati shows up in a 1932 directory of NY manufacturers with the address on the label as a manufacturer of uniforms.

Henry Vincent played on Broadway, and specifically in the play PROMISE, from December 1936 to January 1937, at the Little Theater - now named for Helen Hayes.

Follow-up question, and a stupid one, for myself: What kind of jacket is this? Is it a typical period dress jacket, or something more specific like what a pianist would wear? I don't know fashion stuff.

Looks like a standard tuxedo jacket with tails.

Broadway musicals in the 1st half of the 20thC in particular went through a lot of tuxedos. Then there's every play that needs to signal upper crust manhood in a character.
