Need help identifying these Japanese writing characters?

I'm in the process of making this costume:

On it it has this writing, which I believe to be Japanese?

Can anyone tell me what these characters are and what they mean?

If the quality was better, yes. They seem to be mirrored at least.

That's about the best quality I have of these. Can't really get them much clearer than that. While not all of them are really clear to see, quite a few of them are pretty clear.

I'm sorry, I can't seem to find any kanji quite matching to any of these. They are either just imaginary kanji, some very rare ones or chinese.
