Need an engineer...

Okay, my redhead's got a challenge for everyone.

She's shaped kinda like Mae West and wears a size 44 JJ brassier.

The problem is, you can't get that size at Victoria's secret and everything else looks like it was designed for an old lady.

She figured that with all the crazy stuff we build here, that a bra that's comfortable and looks hot shouldn't be a problem.

So...since she asked...I'm posting this, to try and find an engineer here, that can design the better brassier.

you could try designers like Armani, versace, Prada, D&G they have some great designs,
they cost a bit more, but the quality is great

Thanks Xeno,
I'll pass those links onto her.

Any other ideas folks?

Those sights just don't seem to go big enough.

My poor redhead...too busty for her own good....

I had a neighbor who bought from undercoverexperience in the UK. She seemed very happy with thier services and she was a 36HH. All of her bras had to be custom made.

Thanks Ryu.

And good call on holding back, besides being a redhead (dangerous to begin with)she's also; Russian, Hungarian and Italian. She can be..ummm..."temperamental". I could get hurt, just for asking if I could take those pics. :D

Thanks for bit of feedback Double D. (pun intended) It's good to know.

Have you tried asking about special order at Victoria's Secret? I know people that are amply endowed, that have to special order because they simply don't carry them instore.

They won't custom make larger then like DDD, she tried...

Usually when youstart getting into a bra that is lager than an E, you need better support. Higher quality material, wireing, and such. Victoria Secret just cant offer that. Fredericks ofd Hollywood offers larger bras, but I cant rememebr how large they go. Youwould be better off going with that company from the UK. It really is high quality stuff.

Ya know, this had been someting I was going to post on for a while, ironically. :angel

My beloved is also gifted to the tune of 38DD but hates the soft support bras. Her words: "They just squish them into one big boob." I also hate the idea of underwires, because after time they can cause tissue damage to the rib cage beneath the breast, especially if the breast is heavy.

Thus, with all of our collective engineering, load bearing, materials and ergonomics know-how, we should be able to build a bra that does the following.

1.Provides support for weight distribution of larger breasts that does not cause the straps to slice the shoulders;

2.Provides under-breast support for distribution of the breast weight that does not use a hard wire but instead a multi-layered support rib, perhaps one covered in high density silicone that is finished in a lighter coat of less dense more flexible silicone;

3. That looks attractive to the lady wearing it and finishes out smoothly beneath her clothes

I think we can do this gentlemen and ladies. We'll all share in the patent money. :thumbsup

there is a company in Covent Garden, London who do this stuff.
They are called Bravissimo.

I'm sure they have a site.

Ken,

All reasons why this was posted here. Remember, build the better bra and they will buy it. :D

One point you forgot Ken. It must be sexy. The only ones she can find now are old lady bras & maternaty ones. She's also resticted to beige for colors. Never saw a slave Leia top in her size =(

These also must be long lasting things, which I know is tougher because of the weight they must bear (over 20 pounds folks.) Also, she needs to sleep in one

She tried Bravissimo. Stops just shy of her size. =(

Well, this would be a long-shot but it might be worth a try.

I have heard from friends that in the adult-entertainment industry there are some rather large chested women who sometimes wear sexy-lacy bras in many colors.

Maybe try contacting their agents/managers, explain your situation, and see if they would be willing to contact their clients who might share where they get their bras from. Perhaps even if they are custom made that seamstress might take on commision work.

I remember a British TV series, originally on Channel 4 in 2000. "Better By Design" showed two industrial designers who tackled various everyday items. In one show they set out to build a better bra. Instead of underwire they used a 3-dimensional support of "polypropylene overmoulded with a soft elastomer". The bra came into production by Charnos under the name Bioform, but the largest cup size that I could find on the 'Net is FF. :(

Anyway, if you are going to get it custom-made, you could borrow their idea. It is probably patented so you can't sell it, but as far as I know, a patent does not disallow custom-made items for personal use.

Edit: While searching I came across another model "Fantasie Belle Full Cup" which is manufactured in up to JJ. Comes in beige, white and black. I don't know if it satisifes your "looks hot" requirement though. You will have to judge yourself. ;)

Wow, a civilized conversation about big boobs. I must have crossed a dimension. Possibly into a middle ground between light and shadow; between science and superstition...
