NECA Batman Grapnel Launcher replica

I believe bman4488 found it listed at Target for $15 (!)
It has cool features and I'm sure the price is a steal, but if it's seven inches long it's undersized. Even without the spear it should be 8 to 8.5 inches. With the spear it's about 10". Valor did extensive research and actually had access to an original prop, so I trust his research. I'll definitely buy one for the price and features, but be aware it may be on the small side.

Checked Walmart (wasn't the 89 Batarang exclusive?) and Target and nothing listed online (or brick seek)

It's annoying how these rollouts work (still never even seen the Batarang in-store). Ended up buying on eBay. Probably paid too much, but considering the 89 resurgences going on, I suspect these are going to be hard to get if you're not at the right place at the right time. Plus I've spent around the same for a resin garage kit so it's no so bad

I grabbed one of ebay. Should be here tomorrow according to tracking but the shipping timeline on the tracking says otherwise. we shall see if it gets here and described.
Got mine at target. $14.99.
Had to go to the junk toy section where they sometimes have seasonal toys. You just kind of have to wander the toy section if it isn’t by the NECA stuff.
Also, please stop feeding the scalpers. It only encourages them to snag this stuff off the shelves to sell at insane markups.

It isn’t heavy, it’s super satisfying and honestly, at $15, you can’t complain.
I'm really kind of amazed NECA is selling a prop replica at a price point below their action figures...

That's why (for the price I got mine) I thought wasn't too bad initially thinking these would be between 25-35 dollars). When I re-visit target I'll check again. Have never seen even the Batarang in store so I'm not hoping for much.
Edit: Took some photos of mine (don't have batteries yet and cant figure out how to get the battery cover open)
This is bigger than the old resin model kit. The chamber does move and with some modding it looks like you'd be able to separate this into two pieces. Also!! The biggest thing I wondered, the nozzel is slightly to the side compared to the resin kit. A big win for me and I will defintly buy a few more if I see them in store. 100% pleased!

I got mine today. I had the opposite reaction. It's smaller than I thought it was going to be. It's neat though. Need to get the batteries so I can real the cord back in. I unspooled some of it before I realized batteries were not included. LOL.

It's because that "resin kit" is just a recast of an old SD Studios kit someone assembled together wrong. Thank that person lol The barrel IS supposed to be to the side on it, too. Just depends on which recast version you got.
