I have heard from another member here that the Letica cups have been discontinued by Race Track stores and they now are selling 44oz drinks as the largest.

Circle K stores also used the 66oz cups but has replaced them with 44oz foam cups as well although you might find a store with a few in the back room.

If folks need the cups it looks like Valero stores are the only ones at this time.

The cups also are not in the Letica products catalog on line so they might be discontinued across the board.

Here are the exact tools that I use to make the Caf-Pow! graphics and props.

Sandpaper: 100 Grit Wet/Dry sandpaper
Knife: X-ACTO PRECISION KNIFE X2000
Blades: X-ACTO 'X-Life' No. 11 blades
Cup: 7-11 'Double Gulp' 64oz Red & White cup
Lid: 7-11 'Double-Gulp' clear lid
Straw: 7-11 'Double Gulp' 13" orange straw, straight
Paint: Rust-oleum 'Painter's Touch' Apple Red - Gloss Spray Paint

Hope this helps out =)

What is the sandpaper for? Do you scrape off the Double Gulp design?
And to the others here that made their cups on the first run - did you apply the label directly on the cup or scrape the paint off first?

Well, Valero "FasTrac" stores in Danville, Virginia were a bust...only had 44 oz cups, no big ones. Anyone having any luck tracking cups down let me know, I'm in the market for 5 of them...

I've got 2 I'm sending to another member and can get more if folks need

Same exact cups at the Albertsons corner store right by my shop, so I can easily still get them if anybody needs em.

Heres a shot of the 7-11 cup next to a Valero Corner Store cup.

They have over 1000 of them in the back room of the station by my house, and are according to the manager the same cup used through out the US.

The cup is the same as 7-11's the top is clear plastic with only the drink bumps- no logos. The straws are straight long solid red.

Here is the link for the Valero Corner Store Locator:
http://www.valero.com/Stores/StoreLocator/Pages/Home.aspx

Stores are nation wide.

And the one for RaceTrack Stations mentioned back a few pages:
http://www.racetrac.com/search-results.aspx?folder=20&zip=&state=az&id=1368

They seem to be in Texas, Florida, Georgia, and Lousiana.

I removed the existing design with acetone, and then applied the new label as per 8perf's directions.

Thats good to know that Albertsons uses them as well. I checked with a resturant supply house and was told they no longer show up on the sites where they order Leticia plastic products so they probably are being phased out.

SWhite228: I have my niece on a scavenger hunt in Florida looking for the cups, but if she cant find them, I will post again to get some from you. I think youre the closest to me (im in Georgia).

If she's in the Winter Park area of Orlando, tell her she may want to try somewhere else. So far, all the stores I've been to have switched over to the clear ones.

As far as the lids are concerned... If you have a Target nearby with a cafe in it, go check their biggest soda lids - they're red (quelle surprise), and they don't have any logos on them. At least, the ones at the store in Bethel, CT don't - your mileage may vary.

Sounds like they're similar to the ones from the RaceTrac stores.

The lids for the 64oz cups are the same size as the 54/44oz lids at most stores. The cups are just taller than the others.

While the originals from 7-11 would have had the Double Glup wording on them and were clear most of the generic lids are frosted plastic so the Target red lids might be the way to go if you plan on drinking from the cups.

I pm'd you about the cups I have left.
