So there is absolutely no way I'm going to finish my iron man suit by halloween, so I'm falling back on my "safety" costume - A castle crasher.

I came across this FANTASTIC costume through google and I'm having trouble figuring out what this is made of.

It looks like that 1/8" cheap craft foam sheets you find at michaels etc, but I dont see any seams or places where it would connect.

So my question to you, oh might RPF - What material does this look like to you, and / or where might I acquire such mats to build several of these for my core group of crashers on our autumn night of drunken revelry! :)

Can't be cardboard, because of the bend and thinness. I've heard of sintra but never really known what its about, after doing some google images thats what it looks like. Or at least a pretty darn good alternative.

It also looks like a giant posterboard paper o-O

My bets on sintra.

i would says foam covered in cloth...like think the foam for "egg create" things for mattresses, but thin. covered in cloth

Is the top piece a complete cylinder? If so, my guess is cardboard barrel, the kind dry goods are shipped in. I see what appears to be the metal rim at the top. If it is completely seamless, then I would guess it to be covered in craft paper.

As for the skirt and shoes: http://www.foamorder.com/closedcell.html
